it's the mileage by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a card using one of the fabulous Ai Golden Oldies. Here I used 1925- Power Walkers and my sentiment is 1945- It's The Mileage. The Golden Oldies are always a fun collection to create with!

I was planning to keep the colors in this card to pink & black but decided to pull a little blue & orange from the paper. Then I added the green, so it turned out quite the opposite of what I imagined, LOL, but it did bring the old gals to life!

I didn't want the large main panel to cover up so much of the background papers so I trimmed the top with my trimmer...up to the first gal's arm on either side. Then I fussy cut around her hand and left it hang over the panel's edge.

Don't you just wonder what their conversation is about? When I look at the above photo in black & white, it reminds me of the comic strips! LOL. That might just be an idea for a future card...hmmm.

Have a great Monday and… happy stamping!

This is such a funny card. I imagine that the conversation is quite one sided. The one gal looks like she's about to drop! lol! You really brought them to life.

One of my favourite images and always makes me giggle! Love how you cut around her hand!
