Gladys has the Flu bug !!

Hello Ai fans !!

Today I am using Gladys sku # P1551 to create this get well card, how sad does she look, totally hits it right on the head, I know we have all been there a time or two.
My creative process started with the coloring my image , then I found a 6*6 My Minds Eye Bramble Rose (these papers are so gorgeous, also 6*6 papers have smaller prints and work perfect for cards),  I cut my image with the ornate die and chalked inside edge of it while die was still on with a soft yellow to create a glow  (this lets you have a white frame around the edge). I then laid this on several papers until I found just the right one,  I then found matching card stock to create my layers. I made square layers to add behind the die, I added paper piercing on each corner,  I added stitching to my bottom layers,  I added my ribbon to top two layers before I attached to base card stock. I often use wax paper when cutting my doilies out (help come off the die easy and the punch outs come out easy, it's like waxing your die when you have lots of small cutouts ), so I am using the wax paper cut today. I attached my image at a slant and added ribbon and hand-made flowers with yellow stickles in centers. I made a sentiment banner with a layer, I hand cut these. I added glossy accents to water and ceramic mug and glass. I added glitter pen the thermometer and remote. These small details add lots of wow to your card so don't forget to add them.

inside my card I kept the colors and theme flowing. I hope you like this card and maybe incorporate some of these ideas in your next creations.
Thanks for stopping by, come back tomorrow and join in on the Art Impressions Thursday challenge, leave me a comment if you enjoyed this card.

What a Day!

Hello Ai Fans!
Do you ever have one of those days where you just feel like everything is going wrong and your life is like a country song?

This Clothesline Cow (Sku#U1485) has had a day like that. I colored her with markers.  I used a white jel pen for the polka dots on the shorts.

For the background, I Googled cow patterns and found some free clip art, which I printed out onto card stock.

On the inside, I added the sentiment Country Song (Sku#G2626)  layered on top of the cow pattern.

Please come back tomorrow to see what Crystal has for you!!

Thanks for visiting!

Take care and STAY POSITIVE!

Mini gift bags.

Hello hello Ai friends and happy Monday!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  It has been a snowy winter, I'm totally ready for Spring.  So, I decided to make some fun mini gift bags using the Ai Doorway clear stamp set Feb/Mar DW (SKU#CS3172).

I adore this gorgeous basket of flowers from the Feb/Mar DW set, I colored the image with Copic markers and stickles.  I added another layer of lilac cardstock using the scalloped oval Spellbinder, and for the mini gift bags, I used Tim Holtz/Sizzix in the bag die.

I hope you like them and have a great day!
