Bear Hug by Judith

Hello Ai Fans!

I love these new 'Hugs' Valentine stamps, they are just so much fun, especially when you add an Action Wobble spring!  And really, they are perfect to use all year long… they would be so cute on a mini card tucked into your kids lunch boxes :)

Here's a look at the great dimension you get with the Action Wobble - plenty of room for it to move freely.

Have a fabulous Friday :)

Just one more holiday card by Cheryl Valadez!

Hello, Ai Fans!

I know what you're thinking.  You're saying to yourself "Is she crazy?  Nobody wants to see another holiday card."  And right you are, but hear me out.  If you're like me, you scramble during the November/December timeframe to squeeze in all of your card crafting.  That is, if you even have the time to make cards at all.

This year, I'm going to take a different approach.  First of all, I'm going to intentionally keep my holiday card list small.  Second of all, I'm going to make one Christmas card each month.  By the time December rolls around, I'll have a dozen cards ready to go!  If I need more, I'll just replicate one of the designs.

With January quietly tiptoeing by, I decided to get started by using one of the Shake Your Booty stamps.  This one is the Santa Shake set (#4348).  You can find him in the Art Impressions shop along with plenty of other fun images.

Okay, that's one under my belt, only 11 more to go.
Stay Crafty!

Dotty by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I have a square card to share with you today, using the lovely Dotty (Sku#U2778)!  My paper choice (pink & peach chevrons?) is a little out there... but then Dotty is a little out there herself.
I have a wonderful new Wink of Stella marker that I coloured over her bloomers and hair bow to give her a little shimmer, and I added a few pink pearls around her, too.

There is still time to participate in our Trips Ahoy! Challenge... we want to see your nautical or travel themed cards - you can link up your card here.

Happy stamping everyone!

Bear Hug Valentine set by ReneƩ Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a very versatile Valentine's Day set from Art Impressions.  The set is called Bear Hug Set (Sku#4361).    When I first saw this set I immediately thought that it really isn't Valentine specific which is a GOOD thing!  I can picture using this as an anniversary card or, as you can see below, a birthday card.  The more uses for an image the better!

There's a very unique feature of this set.  There's a main image and a stamp of just the torso and head.  You can pop up the upper portion of him on an action wobble and watch him bounce!!

Here's the inside of the Valentine.

Now...here's my other version.  This one is a birthday card for my 7 year old niece. I always tease her because her 9 yr. old sister always runs to give me hugs when I see her.  Brynn, on the other hand, struts by with a "hey" and that's about it.

Speaking of versatile...the paw prints are actually dog prints from the Mouthfuls Dog set.  I added the claws with a black marker to make them bear tracks.

Birthday whoot by Marie-Pierre

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a beautiful birthday card made with one of my favorite stamps: Birthday Whoot!

This stamp is so much fun to color and this time I used a technique I have learned at CHA: use your water based markers with a water brush! So simple, and yet I had only used my markers with a blender pen until now, which gives a very different result!

As for the polaroid, I made it using some post-it and a mask. I placed the post-it to form a square, I stamped my owl and I applied the ink using a make-up sponge.

When I took all the masks away it looked like this:

I just had to outline the contour with a black marker and to color my owl.

I made several cards with this cute owl and I absolutely adore him! I plan to get many more owls from the same collection

Happy stamping!!
