NEW VIDEO - Beach Row Houses Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

Welcome to a new and unique Watercolor Wednesday! This week, Bonnie shows us this beautiful coastal neighborhood with only our Cottage by the Beach set! She starts by stamping the three houses in Sepia, masking with a sticky note and using our Stamp Positioner to align them side-by-side. She then uses a wide array of Marvy Markers to style the beach houses and create sky, sea and shore for the background. Bonnie shows how easy it is to add unique details, such as a beach ball and pennant flags.

We hope you grab your markers this week and create something colorful! If you enjoyed this video, hop over to YouTube and give us a thumbs up or leave a comment! Plus, subscribers will see our video uploads first! We also enjoy seeing your creations on Instagram using the hashtag #AiWatercolor! Thanks for watching!

Some Bunny Loves You by Dana Warren

Hello AI Fans!!

Looking through my cards still waiting to be posted I found this one spring card that I figured I'd share before summer really gets going!! I used Easter Blessings but the set has a non-Easter sentiment, Some Bunny Loves You so you can use these super adorable images all year round!! I used very spring colors for my card but could use more summer or fall colors to really stretch this stamp set!!

I started with a panel of watercolor card stock and used Lindys Stamp Gang Magical's to watercolor a bit of yellow to it. The magicals are a powder and you just add it to water, gesso, embossing paste or whatever you want to add a tint too! I used the Bonjour Butter color.

While the panel was drying I picked out a die to create a window in the panel. Before die cutting (because my panel was wet) I lightly traced it on a white card base, where the window would be. In this area, I applied some Hero Arts Bubble Gum with an ink applicator. Then I placed a Tim Holtz stencil, Lace over it and applied more ink!

Next, I stamped the little bunny and colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers. I used: CG3, CR1, CR4, CR6, DG2, HB1, HB2, PL1, PL2, PL3. Then I fussy cut him out. The sentiment Some Bunny Loves You was stamped at the bottom of the pink lace and my pencil trace line of the window was erased.

When my background was dry I die cut the window out and added it to the card base with the pink lacey part showing through. I added the little bunny to one corner of the window and lastly added a few sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping!!

Antiques Window by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I am a big fan of stitching with my sewing machine on my cards & projects, and recently started experimenting with this metallic gold thread from Gutermann.  I was doubtful that it would stand up well, because it is such a delicate filament, but it works beautifully!  I used it to glam up this week's card using Antiques Window (Sku #4587):
Even though this is a masculine card, I don't find the gold thread to be over the top - it just adds a bit of glimmer.  I made a frame with a double row of wonky stitching and popped it up with pop dots.  I did a little zigzag stitch on the heart, and popped both it and the main image up as well.  The Antiques Window is one of the Windows To The World stamps - they're quick to colour and have wonderful sayings written around them.  *This would be a great Father's Day card... you can find all the WTTW stamps here.  Happy stamping!
