Happy Halloween by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

Happy Halloween!!! Today I have 3 cards to share! Figured I'd go ahead and show you all the cards I made with the Halloween Magic stamp set!

These cards are pretty straight forward. I used my Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils to color them all. I don't have the colors, but I used almost all it seams like!!

I used some Halloween pattern paper on each one. The box of Halloween supplies went home with me last weekend, so I don't remember what companies I used. They are a little older, though!

Have a great day!! Happy stamping and trick or treating!!

Happy Halloween! by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

Happy Halloween!
I know it's a bit late for Halloween crafting, but I had to squeak in one more card.  I just loved all of the images in the Halloween Magic Set and was inspired to make a card with this fun image.
The image was stamped onto Spetrum Noir Ultra Smooth paper with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink and colored with Copic markers.  The colors used are listed at the end of this post. A few of the images were enhanced with the Spectrum Noir Clear Shimmer Pen.  It adds a clear shimmer.  The layer was cut out using the Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies.
The mail image was added over a orange foil layer that was cut with the Oval Double Stitched Dies. The piece of decorative paper was cut to the same size as the card base and edged with a medium tip silver Pilot marker. Recollections enamel dots were final thing added to the card.

Copic Marker Colors Used:
Kitten - E70, E71, E74, R20
Bat - C5, C7, C9
Hat - V12, V15, V17
Pumpkin - YR00, YR02, YR04, YR07
Green- YG1, YG3, YG5
Shadow - W1, W3

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Framed Autumn Window by Carol Hintermeier

Hello and happy Monday Ai Fans!

Today my card features the newly released Autumn Window to the World (WTW).

I colored this adorable image with my Spectrum Noir markers.  Then I used Art Impressions 3D Frame Die to create this frame from some patterned paper.  After the frame was assembled I adhered it to some wood look paper.

It's no secret that I love gingham print of any kind!  So it's a happy day to pull out some of my favorite red gingham ribbon to use on a card!

Thank you for stopping by!  Happy stamping!!

Christmas Drive Window by ReneƩ Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

I tried to make my card look a little like a gift box all wrapped up with a bow.
I also tried to make it look like a night time sky.  Next time maybe I'll be brave enough to go a little darker.

I think this one will be headed to my mom and step dad.  He's a big lover of old trucks.  I know he'd appreciate this card.

BIBLE JOURNALING VIDEO: My Fortress Set Part 2

Hello Ai Fans!

Welcome to the fourth video from Bonnie for our Ai Bible Journaling line! Today, we have part 2 of our My Fortress Set page spread. This week, Bonnie creates the word "REFUGE" surrounded by vines, with a seagull resting on top.

Our friend and Bible Journaling artist Jann Gray created a video last week making a beautiful autumn scene, with changing trees and pumpkins. She reminds us to set aside time to give thanks to the Lord, as she works in Leviticus. Check out her video here! You can still preorder the first devotional for the Ai Bible Journaling line for the Living Water set here!

Reminder, there will be videos from Bonnie on the second and fourth Saturdays, and videos from Jann on the first and third Saturdays! All videos will be linked in our Bible Journaling playlist on YouTube!

Garden Window by Cheri Burry!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!
Today I am trying my hand at Watercoloring my cards using some Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I still need lots of practice but I have to admit how fun they are! I also wanted to show you a different way to use the "Garden Window MTF" stamp set.
The Garden Window set is actually a set to make a Mini Try-fold card. Instead of creating a try-fold card, I decided to just use the main image and add a cute puppy from the "WC Dog set" peeking out the window. I started by stamping the window with Stazon Black ink on watercolor paper. I stamped it a second time on a post-it-note to create a mask so I could add the puppy in the window. Next I used my markers, a water brush and the Ai "Watercolor Palette" and watercolored my image. I added some Yellow Stickles to the flower middles for that tiny bit of sparkle.
I made a set of 3 coordinating cards and tied them together with some white ribbon. I think it'll make a nice gift. I actually used the sentiment from the Girlfriends "Bench" stamp set.
Zig Clean Color Colours Used:
Light Blue, Cobalt, Lilac
Yellow, Mustard, Beige
Deep Green, Light Green, Flesh Colour
Light Carmine, Light Pink
Dark Brown, Blue Grey

It's always fun to see how you can use your stamps differently then intended to get the most out of your sets!
Happy Stamping!

Christmas Bee Snow Friend Sleigh Bells

Today we have Crystal with us to share her un-BEE-lieveable project!

Hi AI fans!!

Time to get moving on those Christmas cards! I had so much fun playing with this Christmas Bee set 5042!

I started with Stamping multiples of every image from the stamp set in Memento black so I could sit and relax and then fussy cut them out.  I started with  a 4 1/4"X 5 1/5" card base.

For my first layer I cut a piece of water cardstock down to 4"X 5 1/4".
I wanted a layer to match the colors I planned on the card so I took my harmony inkpad in  Honey Pot and inked the edges of the watercolor cardstock. I was not careful to blend at all I just wanted the edges to be dark so it looked like I had matching cardstock. I adhered that cardstock directly to the cardbase.

For my next layer I trimmed another piece of watercolor cardstock down to 3 7/8" X 5/8" and adhered it to my inked cardstock using fun foam to add a little dimension.

For my third layer I wanted to add texture and the look of honey combs to tie in the bees to the card. I took the same Honey Pot ink as I used for the edges of the first piece of cardstock and stenciled on to a piece of water color cardstock which was just a little bit smaller then the last layer. I then adhered that layer to the white watercolor cardstock.

I fussy cut both the tree and the singing bees as close to the black line as I could. After I cut them out I went around the edges with  a black pen so I could not see any white peaking out. Before I adhered the bees to the card I inked up the bottom of the stamp and stamped the feet directly onto the card base.

As a extra layer for more dimension I stamped the bee hive up on the left corner but also stamped a couple trees directly onto the background with black ink and layered the tree over them.

I stamped the sentiment onto watercolor cardstock and inked the edges with the same yellow ink as everything else and adhered it with some foam tape.

To finish the card off I added a few drops of clear glitter Nuvo Drops.

Spectrum Noir Markers:

CT1, CT4, IG5, IG10, DR1, DR7, AB1, AB4, MB1, MB3, MB5, GG1, GG2, GG3, AG1, AG2, AG3, Blender

Happy Stamping!
Hope you are inspired and I look forward to seeing what you create for the challenge.

Thanks, Crystal! Your card is as sweet as honey!
