Trick or Treat!

Can you believe it's September already??  That means it's time to pull out some Halloween stamps. For this weeks card, I went to one of my favorite Halloween couples! I used #4524 Trick or Treat Set. I love how his belly pokes out from under the top of his costume!

Quivery Halloween by Dana Warren

Hello AI Fans!!

Dana, here with my last Halloween card for the season!!  Art Impressions new Holiday Mini Shakers are perfect to help you get your's done!! The Quivery Mini shaker is so cute, I just love their wide-eyed stares!! 

I started by stamping the full image and die cutting it with a circle. Then I stamped the small pig and geese stamp on some scrap paper. I used the following Spectrum Noir Markers to color all the images: CR1, CR3, CT2, CT4, DG4, GB2, GB3, GB10, HB2, HB3, IG1, IG2, IG4, IG6, IG8, IG9, LV2, OR2,OR3, TN6.

I used the matching pig and geese dies to cut them out and then added them to the circle with the NEW Mini Action Wobbles!

From some pattern paper, I used a stitched rectangle die and then added it to a white card base. I stamped the sentiment in the lower right corner.

Last, I added the stamped circle to the card with foam tape and die cut three black bats, dies that come with this set and added them to the card.

 I love colouring my images to match bright, fun papers - and this one is no exception!  I popped up both the image and sentiment on pop dots.  Here's another version:

Quivery Mini Shaker by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!

Art Impressions has really hit one out of the park this year as far as Halloween stamp sets go!  Is this not the most adorable set?  Look at their startled expressions!!  And of course the sentiments are SO fun... Here are a couple of cards using Quivery Mini Shaker (Sku #4793):

 This sweet set, is actually a double shaker!  Both the little pig and little duck come as separate images with matching dies, so I stamped and coloured the main base image, as well as the upper bodies of the pig and duck.  I then cut out the pig and duck with their dies, and popped them up with the new Mini Wobbles so that the cards shiver & shake a little.  Here's another version:

 Now the other fun things that are included in this set are four small accessory dies - the two bats, a spider and a little pumpkin - the perfect little details to finish off your cards.

Hi Punkin' Pie by Dana Warren

Dana, here with two Halloween cards!! I can't believe October is here, the year is flying by!! My cards today feature the Punkin' Pie Set. I made two cards with this image, using the same Halloween paper pad.

I started by stamping the image twice and then used my Spectrum Noir markers to color them. If you happen to use Spectrum Noir markers with your coloring I recommend using Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth Premium Card Stock! I have found it to be the best card stock to use with my SN markers! I used DR1, DG4, EB6, FS1, FS3, FS6, GB2, GB6, HB2, HB3, IG3, IG8, LV2, OR2, OR3. After coloring I fussy cut one and cut the other with a stitched oval die.

For the first card, I trimmed some of the tiny pumpkin pattern into a banner shape. I punched two holes at the top and threaded some twine and tied it in a bow. 

For my second card, I used a stitched rectangle die to trim the orange plaid paper. I added it to a white card base and then added the oval with foam tape.

From a solid orange page, I trimmed out a strip and notched one end and rounded the corners of the other. I stamped the sentiment added it to my card along with three rhinestones.

Happy Howl-oween by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!

I've been dying to get my hands on these little guys, this is quite possibly my favourite stamp set from Ai's most recent release... here are three cards that I made using Howl-oween Set (Sku #4785):

 Honestly, the faces on the pups are hilarious!  Bonnie totally captured the 'seriously annoyed' look in their expressions!

 All three were coloured with Copic markers, then die cut and mounted.  The sentiments and treat bags are popped up on pop dots.
