Christmas Wonder by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I have the last of my Christmas cards to share with you today - two cards using the lovely Christmas Wonder Set (Sku #4936):
I kept both of these images to a fairly neutral palette - other than red & green, I used just the Copic Warm Greys & a hint of gold.
For this card, I fussy cut out the lamp post and the tree, and popped both of them and the sentiment up with pop dots.  Happy stamping!
Copics used: Greys - W7, W5, W3, W1, W00
Reds - R37, R35, R32, R30, R59
Greens - G46, G43, G40
Skin/hair - E11, E00, E000, R30, Y26, Y23, E50, E55, E53, E51, E47, E44, E43

Santa Paws by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I'm pretty sure that this is going to be everyone's favourite Ai Christmas stamp set this year... Here are a set of cards using the very fun Santa Paws set (Sku #4937):
Who doesn't love seeing puppies dressed up for the holidays??  These were so much fun to colour!
I used my Copic markers to colour the images, and then let my love of patterned papers do the rest.
Now, when I started this post, I only had two cards... but I love the pups so much, that I've added two more!  Happy stamping!

Holiday Mansion by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
Have you seen the fabulous Holiday Mansion Set (Sku #4926) that Art Impressions released this summer??  It is the most brilliant idea to have a sweet little house that comes with shutters and a full set of dies to cut out the window panes, and two doors on hinges:
How cute is that??  The other brilliant part of this set... is that there is a companion set of stamps & dies called HM Accessory Set (Sku #4927).  If you notice the tree, wreath, bells, reindeer & Santa - these are part of the accessory set, each designed to peek out from between or behind the windows and doors.
After stamping and colouring with Copic markers, I positioned all the dies on both the house and all the accessories.  One quick pass through my Cuttlebug, and everything was cut out and ready to assemble.  I added some Stickles to sparkle up the snow a little, and added some sparkle to the background as well.  The sign was created by cutting it out from a piece of patterned paper.  Here is one of the sentiments that comes with the set that I added to the inside:
Now - what I haven't mentioned yet, is that these are only 1/2 of the accessories that come in the set - a whole set of Halloween images (ghosts, pumpkins, boarded up windows, monsters) mean that you can colour the mansion completely differently to make a spooky haunted house.  I love when you can get an entirely different look from the same stamp set.  Head on over to the Ai website to pick up your own Holiday Mansion!
Copics used - Pinks R85, R83, R81
Reds - R37, R35, R32
Blues - B02, B01, B00, B000, B0000
Greens - G63, G61
Yellows - Y26, Y23, Y21, E50
Greys - C5, C3, C1
Browns - E55, E53, E51

Tropical, Southwest & Merriest Christmas by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I have a few cards featuring the newly released Tropical Christmas (Sku #4788), Southwest Christmas (Sku #4787) and one using Merriest Christmas (Sku #4790) to share today.  Now being from Canada (a.k.a. The Great White North...) a Tropical Christmas is a little out of my frame of reference.  But one look at Surfer Santa and that cute little crab, and the ideas started to come together:
Since I knew he needed to be on the sand, I kept the card itself pretty simple, I drew my own beach, and coloured it with Copic markers, then coloured both the crab and the palm tree, and fussy cut them before adding them to my scene.  I opted for just mounting them on a tropical blue cardstock that would act like the sky.
Tropical Santa and the Cacti from the Southwestern Christmas set were simply fun to colour - especially with the bright, acid greens!

And finally, a more classic holiday card using Traditional Christmas... I used a white base, which is something that I don't often do, and paired the red up with navy as the accent colour to frame everything:
I hope you're having as much fun making your Christmas cards this year as I am!  You can find all of these clear acrylic sets in the Ai store, here.  Happy stamping!
