Crazy Friends by Cheri Burry!

Hi Ai Fans!

When I saw tis stamp set from Art Impressions called "Crazy Friends" set, I immediately thought of a photo booth. You know the kind that's popular right now with a bunch of props you can use to have your picture taken with?!

I had the perfect YNS Insta Polaroid dies that gave the feel of the photo booth effect!

I am using paper from the Echo Park "Fashionista" 6x6 collection and matched that colour theme to my stamped image. I added some Crystal Stickles to each of the Gals for a fun element! A bit of twine, enamel dots and a camera charm finish everything off!

I love that this "Crazy Friends" set comes with 3 different sentiments and used one of them in the smaller Instalove Polaroid Frame.

Hope you are having a fun week it has flown by so fast here hard to believe its already Friday tomorrow.

This week I have been playing with the Crazy Friends Set 4989. I stamped the ladies with Memento Tuxedo black in and colored them in with alcohol markers. I love how mush personality the ladies have I had fun coloring them with as many different colors I could.

I added some gold gel pen on top of the circles on the one ladies dress.

I die cut my colored image into a circle and framed it with some fun pattern paper. I also used a couple other fun pieces of fun pattern paper tucked behind the image. 

I stamped the sentiment onto a die cut banner and attached it with some fun colored staples. 

To finish the card off I added some sequins around the card.

Spectrum Noir Markers used:

PL3, TN2, AG3, PL3, BGR1, BT6, PP1, PP6, TB5

Hello Ai Fans!

Sure hope your Monday is off to a great start!  If you need a little something to make you smile, check out these super fun girlfriends all glammed up for a fun time!

I used Crazy Friends Set 4989 for my card today.  This set is great for birthday cards and also for "just because" friend cards!   I stamped the ladies with Memento Tuxedo Black ink then colored them with my alcohol markers.

I layered the image on some coordinating patterned paper and added a few purple gems from my stash.

It's pretty challenging to capture in a photo the sparkle and shine I added with Glossy Accents, a Wink of Stella yellow pen, and a gold metallic pen.  This shows it here, but not as much as in real life!

Hello Ai fans!

It's my turn to be featured on the Art Impressions Blog!

Today I decided to make a couple of scenes with "floors" that I created.

I used two new adorable sets from Art Impressions.

4988 Sunny Shades Set

and

4989 Crazy Friends Set

Both are from the ever popular Ai Girlfriends line.

I apologize for the funky photos.  My craft room is in my basement with no windows.  I have fluorescent lights which are not great for taking craft photos.  I have a homemade light box but I didn't get up and use it after each step of my tutorial.

I've created a tutorial I'm calling "Under Foot".  For my first card I made a dance floor.  My girlfriends have decided to out to a night club.  They needed a Girls Night Out and they got it!

I sketched it out with a ruler and pencil first to be sure I was happy with the placement and then traced over it with a fine point sharpie.

Next I masked off the black squares with Washi tape and filled them in.  I started with the lightest color and worked my way up to the dark and then blended.

My next step was to fussy cut out the upper part of the girlfriends.  Their feet stayed attached to the flooring.

I popped them up on dimensional foam to give them a 3-D effect.

My second card features a sidewalk that I created.

These girlfriends weren't as lucky as the first two and had to wait outside the nightclub on the sidewalk for a little while.
