Two Circlet Cards by Crystal

Hi Ai Fans!

This week I played with the Lighthouse Circlet MTF and the Cabin Circlet MTF stamp set.

The first card I have to share today was made with the  Lighthouse Circlet MTF stamp set.

I stamped all of the images onto smooth card stock with Memento black ink and colored them in with Spectrum Noir markers. The coloring is really fast since the images are so small. I used th Circle double stitched die to die cut the images out. Then die cut the center out of the first to images with the dies that come in the stamp set.

For both cards I started with a piece of card stock trimmed to 11" X 4 1/4". Scoring at 3.8" in from both sides.  I die cut a circle on the front folded panel and the first inside card panel.

I decorated both cards with some pattern card stock.

The second card I have to share today was made with the Cabin Circlet MTF stamp set.

The only difference from the first card was I didn't add any pattern paper on the inside.

Light House Card By Crystal

Hi Ai Fans!

I'm back again this week playing with another circlet stamp/die set but this time it is the Lighthouse Circlet set.

This way I played with this stamp set and made a card that was a little different then the traditional tri-fold card. I used the Circle double stitched dies to die cut three circles and to cut the center out of two of them. The last circle panel I left whole.

I stamped all of the images with Versafine Black ink onto water color card stock that I had die cut into a circle.

I used Spectrum Noir Aqua markers I just scribble a little color down on my glass craft mat and use a paint brush with some water to color onto the images.

I punched a whole through all three circles and attached them with a fancy brad.

Farm Fresh Fruit Stand Card!

Happy Fourth of July Ai fans!

This week I played with the tri-fold Produce Stand stamp set. I stamped everything with Memento black ink and colored everything in with Spectrum Noir markers. After I colored everything in I fussy cut the images out and ran them though my die cutting machine with the coordinating dies that come with the stamp set.

Look at that cute little raccoon peaking out through all of the layers.

I just traced the opening with a pencil for the card base and the pattern paper and ran them through my die cutting machine with the same coordinating dies that came with the set.

This is a view of the middle layer and the bottom layer.

When you get all of the way inside of the card you see the raccoon sitting on a wood stool eating a slice of watermelon he is just the cutest.

May Simple Joys Fill Your Day By Crystal

Hi Ai Fans!

This week I have a card to share using the Cabin Circlet stamp/die set. Circlet cards are so fun to make and are done in no time at all!

I started used water color cardstock for the base of the card and stamped directly onto the card base because I was going to water color. If I was coloring with alcohol markers I would adhere the panels to my card base. I stamped the images in Versfine black ink.

I used the Square double stitched die to cut pattern paper out and the Circle double stitched dies for the opening in the center.

The images on the stamps are very detailed but when water coloring them it is done very fast. I love the look of water color when it is a little messy.

The inside is where the sentiment is. The look of the sentiment wrapped around the image is so unexpected you do see it till you open the card.

A little peak through of all three layers.

Your Friendship Makes My Heart Sing! By Crystal

Hi Ai fans!

Did you get a chance to see Bonnie on HSN last week? I did it was so fun to watch! This mansion set I played with this week was featured. I also played with this Garden add on stamp/die set. I had so much fun with this set I made two different cards to share with you this week.

I stamped everything in with a alcohol save ink.

I fussy cut both houses out. And then ran the houses through my die cutting machine to cut the windows out and make the top window and door open.

I die cut all of the accessory pieces out with the coordinating dies. I adhered both houses to different patterns of paper with foam tape.

I embellished both cards with the Garden add on stamp/die set pieces that I had colored and die cut out. Lastly I adhered both card panels to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card base.

NO Talkie *before* COFFEE! by Crystal

Hello Ai fans!

Who has to start their day with a coffee? I do every morning it is the first thing I do is pour a cup of coffee.

Art Impressions has so many fun coffee stamp sets. This week I played with the Hot Java Mama set.

I started by stamping this fun lady onto smooth card stock with Memento black ink and colored her in with alcohol markers.

I die cut her out using a Rounded Rectangle double stitched die. I stamped the sentiment "NO TALKIE  *before* COFFEE!" (which is so me and I love it!) next to her in a brown ink. Underneath the sentiment in a different shade of brown ink.

I matted the colored image onto Kraft card stock then matted that onto some striped pattern paper. I adhered the whole panel to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card base. I love this card so much that lady is too much fun and that sentiment makes me giggle every time.

GT1,GT2, GT3, CT3, FS6, FS7, FS8, EB1, EB2, EB3, PP3, TN1, TN2, TN4, LG1, LG3, LG5, CC1, CC2

Hedge-Hugs to You! By Crystal

Hi Ai fans!

This week I played with this adorable Funny Farm stamp set Hedgehogs. They are just the cutest but I say that about almost ever set I use from Art Impressions.

I started by die cutting an oval out of smooth card stock with an Oval double stitched die. I first stamped the cute little guy holding the balloon since I wanted him to be in the front. I then masked him off with a full stick post-it note. I then stamped the second hedge hog which is leaning on the cacti planter. I colored them in with alcohol markers.

I die cut a rectangle using a Double stitched rectangle die. Matted the oval centered on the rectangle. I die cut a banner to fill in some of the blank space on the background. Then I die cut a A2 rectangle to matte everything on which I did off centered to the left.

I stamped the sentiment bellow the two hedgehogs. I adhered the whole panel to a 5 1/2"x 4 1/4" card base. I thought their was too much white space above the hedgehop sitting down so I added a heart and a couple sequins and that finished off the card today.
