Watercolor the Art Impressions way by Marie-Pierre Capistran

Hello Ai Fans!

I have another watercolor series card to show you today!! :)

Here I used the pail and the same flowers as last week with the watering can. I also painted a blue wash in the background and that's changing the things up quite a bit. There aren't two cards that are the same. That's the very fun thing about these stamps! :)

And you know, if you are now ready to take the plunge and get some stamps from this collection but don't know where to start because you want them all, I'd maybe start with the set of the project you like the most. You can see them all right here. Pick one and buy the sets that you need to complement the image you want to do. For example, maybe you'll need a tree or some flowers or foliage to complete the project. It's a nice way to start a good collection.

This is my last post as a Design Team member so I would like to take a moment to thank everybody at Art Impressions who have let me be part of this marvelous adventure! It was a great pleasure to work with your awesome products and a real HONNOR to get to meet you in Anaheim!! I sure hope I'll have the chance to meet you again in the future. And until then, you hold a special place in my heart. Love you guys!! Thanks again so so much. A special thanks to the very special to me "she does it all" Kate. Your are truly a gem!!

Take care my friends!! Your are great at what you are doing!

Sincerely,

Watercolor the Art Impressions way by Marie-Pierre Capistran

Hellop Ai fans!

Today I played with my watering can. :) I love this image!!! I changed the colors bait in the two images and I tried to give it a different look by mating one of the images. I like the one layer card best. What do you think?

And, have you been trying these watercolor stamps?? If so, I'd love to see your attempts. Link your cards up right in the comment section here. :)

Have a great week end,

Watercolor the Art Impressions way - the milk can

Hello Ai Fans!

I have another watercolor card today for you:

One of my favorite set from the watercolor series is the container set because by simply changing one container, you can make a totally other card. I can,t tell you which container is my favorite because I truly love them all! :)

A simple scene here that you can achieve with just a little practice. I finished the card by adding some paint splatters. I didn't add any sentiment so I now have a card in my stash for any occasion. I love that!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Watercolor - Flowers

Hello Ai Fans!

For this card I decided to think outside of the box and to use the flowers stamps in a slightly different way.
Here's my card:

I just stamped a couple of flowers and drew a little lace to hold them together. I flicked a couple of droplets of pink ink that was left of my palette. I added lots of water so that it would drop from my brush.

I mounted my little piece of art on a green mat and adhered it on the card base with dimensional adhesive. I used a quill to write "thank you" with black india ink.

Hope you are inspired to try some watercolor the Art Impressions way yourself. It's really fun and the result is fabulous even when we can't draw!! :) That's really cool!

Watercolor - summer cabin

Hello Ai fans!

As promised last week, here I am again with another watercolor card.
Oh I have so much fun with my stamps! And the more I play, the more I have ideas and the better I become.

For this card, I just followed Bonnie's instructions which come in the stamp package. So easy! And so fun. And at the end I added some wink of Stella in clear in the water which give it a nice shimmery look. Just the perfect touch!

Easter card by Marie-Pierre

Hello Ai Fans!

Although I still see so much snow when I look out my window, I know spring is right around the corner. Or at least, I like to believe it. :) So to cheer me (us) up, I made a very bright and sunny card this week.

For the background I used a stencil that I ABSOLUTELY love and a sponge to ink it up. I stitched a grass border and placed my rabbit right on top of it. The rabbit was colored with watercolor.

Thanks for looking!!
Happy Stamping!
