Frog & Crab Mini Set by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
A few months ago, I did a card using the little crab from the Frog & Crab Mini Set (Sku #4406)... and I had an idea for how I could use the little frog that comes in the set, which I have finally made come to life!
I wanted to make a bunch of the little guys, and have it look like they were hopping onto a lily pad... so I hand cut an oval shape with a notch cut into it - and by putting some green paper on the inside of the card, the negative die cut became my lily pad (I know, some of my cards can be a bit of a stretch!!).  It's a little easier to see what I was going for when the card is shut:
I love that when you open up the card, a couple of the frogs are peeking in, too.
To make assembling my card even easier - I've used the Frog & Crab Mini Dies (Sku #4539) to cut out all of the little pieces.  Check out all of the Mini Front & Backs in the Art Impressions store - you can find them all here!  Happy stamping everyone!

Owl & Monkey Mini Set by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I'm in love.  Yep, I'm completely smitten with the Ai Mini Front & Back dies....  You've seen us using the stamps here on the blog since they debuted last spring, but it wasn't until recently, that I got my hands on the matching DIES.  And oh my goodness, these are the cutest little things - they cut like a dream, and are hands down the easiest dies that I've ever used.  (I'm going to gush about the dies a little longer, so bear with me and scroll down to see my cards!).  Here is how the Owl & Monkey Mini Dies (Sku#4538) come in the package:
You get both the front and back dies that match with the Owl & Monkey Mini Set (Sku#4405)

After stamping and colouring your images, just center the die over the image and secure with a piece of washi tape or other removable adhesive, and run it through your die cut machine.  See how easy it is to position them??

And here's the result... the cutest little owls & monkeys you'll ever see.

With a lot of dies, I find that there's a bit of guesswork involved as far as positioning goes - but not with these ones - it couldn't be easier to get it perfect every time.  Okay, time for some artwork!  My photos are a bit on the light side - this actually looks more like a navy night sky with a yellow moon behind him:

And now for the little monkey:
All eight of the Mini Front & Back sets have matching dies - and all are available through the Art Impressions website here!  You'll want to start your collection asap (if you haven't already!).  Happy stamping everyone!

Monkey gift card holder by ReneƩ Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a gift card holder with you.
I had a clear case from one of my kids iPods lying around so I decided to repurpose it.

I used the adorable  Owl & Monkey Mini Set (Sku#4405)
from the mini Front & Backs line.

I decorated the inside as well as the front.  You can see the backside of the monkey here.

The Congratulations verse is from Hats Off Set (Sku#4289).

I think this fun set makes such a cute gift and it's perfect for a girl or a boy!
My "little monkey" phrase was computer generated.

Sugar & Spice by Judith

Hello Ai Fans!

Look! No colouring today :)

I have combined a couple of different sets to create a little scene. Both sets are actually Fronts & Backs, but I have chosen to just use the fronts.

The window is 'Window Front' and the sweet little children are from 'Boy & Girl Mini Set" - the sentiment also comes with this set.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Let's Hang Out by Judith Gowdy

Hello Ai Fans!

For my card today, I have played around with the adorable Mini Front & Backs - Owl & Monkey set.  As you can see, I did not make the usual front/back type of card, instead using both images on the front to create a little scene.
