Circle of Happiness by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai fans!

I am stopping by today to share with you a card that I had a lot of fun making.  Sometimes you do not need a lot of supplies to make a cute card.  Below I am sharing a card that you can make if you are a pro or a beginner.  It is very versatile.

I used the Art Impressions die set called Circle Double Stitched Dies.  I used a variety of glitter cardstock.  I put two dies together to make the circle outline and not a solid circle. I glued them to my card and finished it with the sentiment Oh Happy Day from the WC Sentiment 2 stamp set.

Here is a  better view of the "Oh Happy Day" stamp from the WC Sentiments Set 2 from Ai.

Here is a close up of the Circle Double Stitched dies.  Aren't they fun?? I do not have any Copics to list today. Like I stated earlier ... It is fun to make a card sometimes with minimal supplies.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  We will talk to you again soon.

Until next time ... Hugs & inky fingers!

Dear Friends Like You by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the 4761-Watering Can stamp set and the 5136-WC Sentiment Set 2. I wasn't quite sure where I was going but I love how it turned out.

I made two of them; one with a bow and the quilted embossing folder and one without a bow and the basket weaved embossing folder.  Not sure which one I like better.  Which one do you?

The Ai products I used were the 4761-Watering Can set and the 5136-WC Sentiment Set 2.  I also used the Marvy markers in 08-Violet and 15-Olive Green.

Here you can see a close up of the Marvy markers stamped onto vellum.  I stamped the flowers second generation; which means i stamped each on a piece of paper before stamping on the vellum.  It gives the flower color a softer color.

You can see I raised the background circle up with foam tape.  This is the circle with the sentiment on it.  The vellum circle is glued onto the white circle.  This is the one with the flowers stamped on it.

I finished them off with some sequins which are actually iridescence confetti. Which one is your favorite once you have seen them together? I think I like the one with the quilted background and the bow.

Thank you so much for spending some time with me and check back soon to see what I make next!

Tears Ran Down My Leg by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai fans!!

I am sharing a card with you this week that shows you can use your scraps to make an adorable card.
For this card I used the same white card base.  I also used the left over circle that were from last weeks project. For the stamp set; I chose the 4385 - Laughing Set from Art Impressions. This set is so fun.

I added my circle to my base card.  I colored my ladies and raised them up with foam tape.

Don't you just love Nuvo Drops?  These are one of the glossy ones. I also stamped my sentiment from the 4385 - Laughing set as well.  I colored it with one of my matching Copics. I placed it behind my glitter Banner Die cut piece.

For the inside I used another fun sentiment for the 4385 - Laughing Set.  I wanted to incorporate the front to the inside so I used the same Copic and made it look like a brushes stroke image under my sentiment. I LOVE how it turned out.

So ... here is my card from today using the left over pieces from last weeks card, shown here as well.  I even tried to color the images the same; didn't they turn out adorable?  I have the two perfect friends these are going to.  Which one is your favorite?

I Haven't Seen You In Forever by Niccole Kulig

Hi Ai fans!!

I am sharing a card today that I made with no a lot of supplies.  I used the 4408 - Texting BFF's from art Impressions.

As you can see It is not a real complicated card, but it gives a big punch. I did not use a lot of supplies for this card. It would make a great layout for a new stamper with minimal supplies.

I cut out a circle from the Art Impressions Circle Double Stitched Dies. I love these dies, they can be used for a million things, and i LOVE the fact they give a stitched line on both sides of the cut.

I raised my pattern paper up with foam tape to give the card some dimension, and glued my Texting BFF's flat to the card base.

Once again here is the finished card.  I added sequins randomly to the card to give it some bling. The sequins look really yellow in some pictures. They are iridescent sequins so depending on where they are they could look yellow, blue, even green, or clear/white.  I like a little bling on cards whether its Wink of Stella, sequins, or even glitter.

Thank you so much for stopping by and spending some time with me.

Happiness Grows by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai fans!

I am here today to share a card I made using two watercolor stamp sets; WC Sentiment Set and WC Tree Set 1.  It is my first time playing with Ai's watercolor stamps and Tombow Markers. I am by no means a watercolor artist but I think I did ok for my first card.

I colored and stamped my tree images and then I stamped a second time and stamped again.  I used gold paper layered along with some hunter green paper.  I stamped my sentiment with Happiness Grows from the WC Sentiment set.

As you can see above I raised the tree portion with foam tape.  I felt with thicker jute wrapped around it would sit better on the card.

For the inside I though the Love You A Bunch was perfect.  It is also from the WC Sentiment set. I also colored some more trees and stamped them in a bunch behind the sentiment.

Once again here is the finished card. No Copics were used for this card only black ink and my Hunter Green Tombow marker. I hope you enjoyed my first (but definitely not my last) watercolor card.  I had so much fun coloring and stamping.  Do you think I should have added more or less water?? Next time I might spritz my stamp before I stamp it and see what result I get.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Until next time ... Hugs & inky fingers!

Just Add Water by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai fans!!

Today I am sharing a card I made with the Windows to the World series set called Pleasures Window. I love how simple the windows are but yet they add such a punch to your card.

I started by diagonally cutting my patter paper and adding a strip of glitter paper for a little pop. I put two enamel dots in the upper left corner to even out the card. I colored my window with Copic markers, and did a double frame on it so it stood out a little more. Raised it up with foam tape.

The sentiment I chose was from the WC - Sentiments Set. I thought the sentiment fit perfectly with what I wanted to say  with my image.

It came together so quickly I had to make two cards. I can't tell which one I like better ... the square cut window or the window where I fussy cut around the words.  Which one do you like better??

In case you are wondering the window says "The pleasures of life are simple, just add water." Next time I want to water color the window.

You're Incredi-Bowl by Niccole Kulig

Hi Ai fans!

I am stopping by today to share a quick card I made using the Incredibowl set from Art Impressions.  I think it is so cute.  If you love to bowl this is a must have stamp for you.

Aren't they cute? So much so I had to make two.

I added a thin border around my little lady.  I wanted to make her stand out a bit more.

For this lady I changed up her headband and left off the border around her.  I put her on the opposite side of the card as well. I also put my colored paper on opposite as well.

I absolutely love enamel dots.  They add so much to the card with little effort.

Here you can see both the cards together once again.  I love that this card uses minimal supplies and that you can change it out for items you have on hand.  Perfect for the beginner card maker. Run over to Art Impressions and get your Incredibowl set today and start creating!

It Takes A Village by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai fans!

I am stopping by today to share a group of gift tags using the stamp set Mail Delivery by The Stamping Village.

Who is The Stamping Village you ask?  The 9 founding members of The Stamp Village came together to create a stamp set. They believe in community over competition. Art Impressions was one one the companies adding an image to the stamp set.  Can you tell which one they designed?  I will show you at the end of this post. They created this stamp set to be envelop seals but I thought they would make adorable gift tags or note cards. I used all of the images except one but that one I am using on the back of my gift tags; it says Hand Stamped With Love.  Perfect for the back, right??

I started by cutting my paper into a 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 card.  I embossed another sheet and cut those to       2 1/4 x 2 1/4.

I attached my embossed background to my card base.

I had a older piece of glossy card stock I used alcohol ink on.  I though it would go perfect with my scheme. I cut them so I had a piece for every note card.

I glued them to the from of my note card. and from there started planning my stamped images.

Here is a little trick (plus you get to see every stamp in the set) I taped the whole set to my Misti so I didn't have to remove every one I wanted to stamp. You can see on the right side, my stamped images, I am using all nine images. I chose not to use the three sentiments for this card set. But aren't those adorable as well?

Here is a close up of  four of the note cards, or gift tags ... which ever you prefer to call them.  😊 I added enamel dots in three different colors to finish them off. The circles were popped up with foam tape. A string was tied to finish off the tag.

Here are the other four cards.  Don't you think the color scheme turned out well?  I had the background done already so that was really my starting point, and from there I just ran with it.

Here are all eight again ... Do you have a favorite?  Can you tell which one was created by Art Impressions?

Here he is ... isn't he just the cutest??? Art Impressions and all of the other designers outdid themselves with this stamp set!  Run over to Art Impressions and  pick yourself up this awesome stamp set, Mail Delivery by the Stamping Village; which supports the crafting industry.  Nothing better than crafters supporting crafters. Have a great Wednesday everyone.
