Happy Halloween! by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

Happy Halloween!
I know it's a bit late for Halloween crafting, but I had to squeak in one more card.  I just loved all of the images in the Halloween Magic Set and was inspired to make a card with this fun image.
The image was stamped onto Spetrum Noir Ultra Smooth paper with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink and colored with Copic markers.  The colors used are listed at the end of this post. A few of the images were enhanced with the Spectrum Noir Clear Shimmer Pen.  It adds a clear shimmer.  The layer was cut out using the Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies.
The mail image was added over a orange foil layer that was cut with the Oval Double Stitched Dies. The piece of decorative paper was cut to the same size as the card base and edged with a medium tip silver Pilot marker. Recollections enamel dots were final thing added to the card.

Copic Marker Colors Used:

Thankful Cards By Crystal Schneider

Hi AI Fans!

I'm back again with cards made from the same Grateful Hearts set 5039 as I played with last week. this week I made two cards using the cornucopia image.

First my first image I colored it in with watercolor markers. I used the largest die from the Rectangle Double Stitched dies I scored a piece of cardstock down the middle and lined the die up  little bit over the score line so it would only cut along three sides and I would have a fold along the top.

I fussy cut the bottom of the image out but left the cardstock attached to the top of the image.

I adhered a strip of pattern paper to the top of the card base. I adhered the colored image to the card base with fun foam to add a little dimension. Added a few nuvo drops in black and the card was done.

My second card I Colored in with alcohol markers and fussy cut it out.

This card was kept very simple I just used kraft pattern cardstock die cut out and inked the edges.

Spectrum Noir Markers:
BO2, BO3, BO4, OR1, OR2, OR3, PL3, IG7, AG1, AG3, DR1, DR4, DR7, OR6, TN4, TN6

Thankful! by Carol Hintermeir

Hello Ai Fans!

My card today features the NEW Grateful Hearts stamp set.  I just LOVE all of the sentiments in this set!  I'm using the beautiful cornucopia from the set on my card today.  I think this is just perfect to give to your hostess at Thanksgiving or to send to that special family member you may be missing at the holidays.

This beautiful image was so fun and relaxing to color!  I used several different Spectrum Noir and Copic alcohol markers to color it.  Then I used one of the dies from Art Impressions A2 Double-Stitched Rectangles to cut the colored image.  I love the stitched detail this die adds!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope this has inspired you to make some holiday cards!  Happy stamping!

Old Age??? HA!! by Sharon Caudle

Hello AI Fans!!

My card today features the "oh so fun" Hop Hop Set!!  I absolutely adore this image and I haven't colored it up in years! I figured it was about time to pull it out again! I'm one of those that it doesn't matter to me how old I am. I love having fun and being silly.  If someone wants to think I'm a fool for it, then so be it! LOL! And to me, that's the exact attitude that comes across with this image and sentiment.  The sentiment is F3474 Mature.  The shaped card was created with the Silhouette, the image panel was cut using the Rounded Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies, and the sentiment was cut using the Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies

So that's it for me today!  Thanks so much for stopping by to visit today and hope you're having an amazing weekend!  I'd also like to say my thoughts and prayers are with anyone affected by the weather this week! Please stay safe!!  Until next time - stay crafty!

Cottage Circlet MTF View Finder Card

Hello Ai fans!

I have really been more in the mood to make interactive cards lately.  I think it may have something to do with all of the cool dies that are on the market that make it simple to make interactive cards.  They're all great, but I prefer to use my crafty budget for stamps and papers, so I find myself looking for ways to make those cards without the dies.  There are tons of tutorials on the internet for many of the one's that have been around for some time like this view finder card.  I found the directions on Splitcoaststampers and adapted them to fit my needs.  I had the idea to make the sky change behind the cottage in the Cottage Circlet MTF and it worked out great.
The middle image from the Cottage Circlet MTF was stamped onto watercolor paper with Versafine Claire Nocturne ink. It was then die cut using one of the Circle Double Stitched Dies as well as the die that comes with the circlet set. This image is colored using Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  The colors used are listed below.  Once Everything was colored, it was attached to a piece of the Bo Bunny Early Bird 6x6 collection that was cut with the Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies. The colored piece was lined up and the inside was once again cut using the die that came with the stamp set.  A half circle notch was cut along the right hand side of the rectangle with the Circle Double Stitched Dies right next to the colored image to form a notch for the view finder piece to be moved after it was attached.

A piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper was cut using a scalloped die cut.  It was colored with a pastel rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks.  They were applied using the Ranger mini ink with the foam applicators.  I started with Spun Sugar and then added Wild Honey and blended back into it with the Spun Sugar to get a perfect blend.  That was done with every color going from Wild Honey into Squeezed Lemonade into Cracked Pistachio into Tumbled Glass into Shaded Lilac until coming back to the Spun Sugar.  A hole was poked into the center of this piece.  A 1" circle was cut out of the Circle Double Stitched Dies to go behind the scalloped piece.  A hole was poked into the center of the 1" piece and a brad was put into the center of it with the prongs facing towards the front.  Four small foam squares were placed on the back of the 1" circle and the brad was put through the center of the larger scalloped circle with the foam squares to the back and the rainbow to the front.  The prongs were closed onto the front.  This is the piece that makes the circle move once it is attached to the card. Foam tape was double stacked along the edges of the rectangle piece leaving a void for the rainbow circle to spin.  The four foam squares behind the 1" circle were then attached to a top folding A2 card that was covered with another piece of patterned paper. Now the sky will change behind the cottage as the "wheel" is turned.
Clean Color Real Brush Markers Used:
S. Almond Pink 200, Pale Rose 230
Flesh Color 71, Beige 72
Green Shadow 49, Light Green 41
Shadow Mauve 303, Blue Grey 92
Lilac 83, English Lavender 803
Yellow 50
