Today Renee has oodles of adorable projects to kick off our release as well as our new "Treat Bags" challenge! Let's take a look!

Hello Ai fans!

Today it's my turn to be featured on the Art Impressions Blog.  The new challenge starts today and couldn't be more fun!  TREAT BAGS!!

I'm featuring the Grateful Hearts Set.

Well...when it's a challenge this fun I couldn't stop at just one bag!
I made a card and 3 different treat bags.

My card is a Dutch fold. (think Dutch doors)

Here's the inside of the card.

This is what it looks like all folded up.

My first little treat bag is a "bag in a box" that I made with my Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers.  Who knew?  Apparently there are so many different things you can do with your envelope maker than just make envelopes!

THIS is the tutorial I followed.
Believe me, it couldn't have been simpler!
How cute is this??  Bonus...as I was folding it up my mind was racing with other combinations of ways to fold and glue this for different shapes and sizes.

My next treat bag is really a box.
I used my Sizzix Harvest Bucket die and glued it to the front of an open box.

My last treat bag is a clear bag that I made a topper for.

I used all but three stamps from this set on my projects so you can see you get quite a lot of beautiful Thanksgiving images and verses with the set.

Thanks, Renee! Those treat bags are too cute! All of your different techniques and formats are really inspiring!
Hoping for a treat? Join our challenge! No tricks! We always love seeing what our fans create with our stamps, so join in the fun for the chance to win! This challenge theme is "Treat Bags" which is great for Halloween or other kinds of party favors!

Hello, Ai Fans!

Our "Haunted House" block is perfect for spooky salutations, and our "Halloween" block adds a playful touch this October! Send sweet thankful greetings with our harvest-themed "Filled with Thanks" block! Each of our Hobby Lobby wood mounted stamps feature full-color images to inspire your coloring. Grab yours at your local Hobby Lobby!

Diane is here to share a fantastic Halloween Treat bag! Check it out!

Hello Ai friends!  Today I am sharing how I made a little treat bag with the new Hobby Lobby 4783- Haunted House block.  The Ai images turn a simple bag into one that is totally unique and fun to give (or receive!).

First, cut TWO 6x6 squares of double-sided patterned paper.  Then score each @ 1/2, 1 1/2, and 2 1/2".  Turn it 90 degrees to the right and score again at 1 1/2".

Cut the small rectangle from the bottom left corner and discard.  Then cut the 2 1/2" vertical scored line up to the 1 1/2" horizontal line.

Turn it 180 degrees and mark the bottom of the bag @ 1" and 2 1/2". Score from each mark to the corner of that rectangle.

Flip the paper over and fold those scored lines to create the bottom flap.  (It helps to tape or glue the flaps down.)  *Now repeat those first steps on the second piece.

Fold all scored lines and apply strong tape to the 1/2" flaps on each piece. (place the tape on the side which will be the outside of the bag)

Adhere each 1/2" flap to the opposite side of the other 6x6 piece to assemble the bag.  Fold in the bottom flaps and adhere.
Note- you can cut a 2 x 3 1/2" piece of cardstock to place inside the bottom of the bag to make it nice & sturdy.

Next, mark both sides 1/2" down and 1/2" in from each top corner.  Use these marks as a guide to adhere ribbon handles with eyelets or brads.  Cut two pieces of 10" to 12" of ribbon for the handles.  If using eyelets, slip the ribbon through and knot each end.

Now the bag is assembled.  Stamp, color, and cut out your favorite Ai images to add to the front!  I colored the cute Haunted House with Copic markers.

The finished bag is 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2" deep.

Now it’s your turn to break out your favorite Ai stamps, make a card, and join us in the “Orange & Purple” Challenge!
Happy stamping!

Wow, Diane! Love this sweet bag and how you've used those bold oranges and purples! Join our challenge! This one is a color challenge, we want to see how you pair these juxtaposed colors together! You do not have to create a Halloween card, but we do want to see you use Orange and Purple! It's easy to join our challenge, simply upload your card photo online and link to it using our InLinkz. As always, Top Spot wins a prize pack and two honorable mentions win a stamp set of their choice!
