Be Mine!

Hi Ai Fans!

Today's post for Art Impressions is my first Valentine's card for this year! I am using the super adorable Valentot Love stamp!

My design paper is from the Pebbles "Be Mine" 6x6 collection. I embossed a piece of pink cardstock with the Cuddlebug Polka Dots embossing folder and then cut the edge on the diagonal with a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Border die. I cut the heart border out of Heidi Swapp Marque Love tape. The pom poms on the hats have Stickles on them and the word Love is glittered with my Wink of Stella pen.

On the inside of  my card is the Ai sentiment called "Happy Valentime's Day".

Reds Used: R21, R22, R24, R27, R29

Letters: RV91, R35, R37, R39

Boots: C2, C4, C6

Bench: E43, E44, E47

I know Valentine Day is over... but it's still super fun to send a little love here and there.   

I just adored these cutie pies from the Valentot Love (SKU#T4004).  

No pinks and reds here!  Plus, especially for the peeps who are experiencing all the snow and having the winter blues... how about some bright colors?

Hi AI Fans!

Have you thought about how much background paper affects the stamp, when it is colored? For me it depends on what I want your eyes to look at first. I have photographed the same scene, but with different paper behind. You see how different things appear on the colored  stamp, depending on the backround color.

This week, we're "feeling frosted" as the winter rolls on at home! We're still warming up the cars in the morning and hauling our coats everywhere!
