Watercolor Throwback - Christmas Snowman Video

Hello Ai Fans!

This week, we're throwing our Watercolor Wednesday back to last year, since our Christmas Snowman video was SO popular! We just returned from the Rubber Stamp Events show in Mesa, AZ, and with all the requests for this demo, we thought we would share it again with you! Enjoy this Watercolor Throwback!

Bonnie created a sweet snowman, all dressed up in his Christmas best! This image comes from our WC Series 4 Set 1, perfect for your holiday cards! With a little masking magic from our Molotow pen, she designs softly falling snow in the background using a blue Marvy Marker wash of color. Don't forget to add a few little flowers and foliage from our Blooming Birdhouse set to dress up his hat for the occasion and add some shimmer to that sparkling snow with a Wink of Stella clear brush marker! This simple watercolor is perfect to create many cards to send lots of cheer!

One last wintry card before I bust into spring....

Today I'm showing you my last wintery card before I bust into the Valentines and spring cards! I fell in love with this paper when I saw it, and had to make a card using WC Series 4 Set 1!! I adore this snowman!  I know this looks blue, but it's actually in shades of grey.

NEW VIDEO - Christmas Snowy Birdhouse Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

Welcome to a new Watercolor Wednesday and our fifth week in our winter series! This week, Bonnie continued with our Watercolor Project Series 4 and used the Snowy Birdhouse from Set 1. Dressing up this sweet image, she added a candy cane stripe down the post with holly foliage swirling around. An easy way to add snow is with a Molotow Masking Marker by simply adding dots and doing a wash of dark blue marker over the top. Off to the side, Bonnie added an adorable little bird and Christmas ornament from our WC Series 4 Set 2.
