Every dog needs a Fire Hydrant

Today I'm going to share a shaped card with you.
I used a photo of a fire hydrant that I found on the
internet as my inspiration.

My card features stamps from Art Impressions.
The verse inside is called Wild Thing.

Tools and accessories:
Martha Stewart grass border punch
Spellbinders circle dies

Happy Birthday Wild Thing!! You're how old??

I just LOVE humorous birthday cards.
That makes me wonder how I missed these
chimps before??  Once I stumbled onto them
I HAD to have them.  They're called
Laughing Chimps and I think they're
perfect paired with two Art Impressions verses...
How Old? and Wild Thing.  I also love that you could
use this image for a child or an adult; man or woman.
We all know it's a little tougher to find great masculine images.
These guys are just perfect for any guy in your life who likes
to chuckle!

The fun jungle leaves are made with a Sizzix yellow die.
I made the bananas by using an oval punch and punching
near the edge of the paper so only a sliver of oval punched.
The oval mattes were made with a Spellbinders die and an
oval punch.

 Here's the inside.

Happy Birthday Wild Thing!!

Happy Birthday Wild Thing!!

This adorable Chihuahua is about as wild as they get!
Don't you agree?

He's from Art Impressions AI Dogs line.
I paired him with the Wild Thing verse.

I think I may send this one to my sister-in-law in Florida.
This is just perfect for her.

I used a Sizzix embossing folder, ribbon from Hobby Lobby,
pearls from Pizazz Aplenty, a flourish from My Favorite Things
and all of the mattes and circles were made from Spellbinders
dies.  The ovals were an EK Success punch and a SB die.
