Hop Till You Drop | By Jessica Shier

Hello Ai Fans!

The challenge #254 has started for the release of the new Girlfriends clear stamps sets. Perfect time to break out this Art Impression Hop Hop set! I thought these ladies looked like they were up to some spring picnic shenanigans with all their fun hopping objects.

I stamped the ladies with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink on Arches watercolors paper. Using my Koi watercolor set I water colored these ladies and the background, adding in a bit of a finish line in white to seem like they are racing to win!

Once my piece was dried I trimmed it down to attach to a A2 card base. I added a black and white stripe of pattern paper on the left and some lovely jewels that match the colors of the hopping ladies clothes.

For the sentiment I die cut the smallest Double Stitched Oval die on white cardstock. Then stamped the sentiment from the Hop Hop Set with Distress Oxide ink. Placing on the top left of the card, then trimming off the top that overhangs.

That is it from me guys! Thank you so much for joining me today. Happy Stamping! ❤

Guinea Flip Birthday Card by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I could hardly wait to start sharing the my flip cards with you.  They are so fun and different from anything else that is on the market right now.  I used the Guinea Flip Card Set along with a few images from the Octopus Flip card set to make a boyish Birthday card.
The images from the Guinea Pig Flip card set were stamped onto Strathmore Bristol Paper with Gina K Designs Black Amalgam Ink and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  Several of the cupcakes from the Octopus Flip Card set were also stamped out and colored. The colors used are listed at the end of this post.  The color was applied to a Watercolor Palette and then applied with a #4 Brush in light Layers of color. All of the images were cut out.
The card base was cut with the Flip Card Die following the instructions on the stamp packaging.  The Happy Birthday sentiment was die cut out of black paper. The front of the card was colored using the MFT Mini Cloud Edge Mix-Ables Stencil with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  Spare sheets of white cardstock were die cut with a grass border and colored with Bundled Sage and Iced Spruce Distress Ink.  They were splattered with watered down Iced Spruce Ink and added to the card using adhesive and foam tape.  The colored guinea pigs were added over the grass. The Happy Birthday die cuts were added over the guinea pig arms. The cupcakes were added around the card.
The inside was colored using the same stencil with Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Bundled Sage and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  The greeting was stamped onto the flap with black ink. The guinea pigs were attached right below the greeting.

Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers Used:
Guinea Pigs -Mid Brown 065, Lt. Beige 074, Mustard 067, Brown 060, Cool Gray 099, Deep Brown 068, Pale Pink 028
Cupcakes - Dull Blue 034, Shadow Mauve 303, Light Blue 036, Pink 025, Mustard 067

NEW VIDEO - Snowy Dock and Barn Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

Anyone ready for a new Watercolor Wednesday? With chilly temps still sweeping across the U.S., Bonnie thought it fitting to give us one last snowy scene! She used our WC Boat Set dock along an icy bank of a river or stream. She added the barn from our WC Truck Mini Set in the distance with some barren trees. We love how versatile this scene is, a great option for a masculine card!

NEW VIDEO! Illustrated Letters Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

It's our favorite day of the week, Watercolor Wednesday! We could hardly contain ourselves and this adorable new video by our co-owner and sole artist, Bonnie Krebs! She created beautiful illustrated alphas using our WC Serif Letter Set and coordinating animals. For this instructional, she uses one of our WC Cats Set images with the capital serif C for a framed design. You could easily create this design with any other letters for monograms and coordinating animals. like our WC Bunnies Set and WC Critter Sets shown for the B and D examples!

We hope you LOVE this tutorial as much as we do! Hop over to this video on YouTube to share the love with a "thumbs up" and a comment! We always love to hear from you!

Wishing you a very happy Watercolor Wednesday!

Front Porch Circlet by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai Fans and Welcome!!

Happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing another Circlet card since it is the last day of Stripes and Circles challenge.

I used the Circle Double Stitch Dies for all my circles. I used a different pattern paper for each page. I also colored the middle circle of each set with my Marine Green Copic. I then die cut all of the shapes that are included with the Front Porch Circlet stamp and die set.

From here I glued all of the layers together.

I made a flat 6x6 base to attach my card to.  All in all I used four different pattern papers for all of my layers.  In the picture above you can see the dimension to the different layers of the three circles.
I made a hinge with the three layers and glued them together so that it could open like a top folding card against the flat 6x6 card base.
I hope you  enjoy the card as much as I did making it.  They are really easy to put together with the coordinating stamp and die set.  These Circlets are very versatile and can be used in so many ways; I hope you grab yourself some.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Markers used:
Copic YG99 - Marine Green
Marvy No. 6 - Brown
Marvy No. 15 - Olive Green
Marvy No. 17 - Steel Blue
Marvy No. 40 - Brownish Grey
Marvy No. 43 - Brilliant Yellow
Marvy No. 45 - Sepia
Marvy No. 89 - Persimmon

Until next time … Hugs & inky fingers!
