Time for the Weigh-in!

Hello hello, Ai friends!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend and Thanksgiving dinner.  Enjoyed lots of yummy goodies!  Well, I think it's perfect timing for weigh in, haha!!!  Don't worry, it's just for these 4 super adorable ladies.

For this card, I used this awesome the Weigh-in (SKU#T4009) stamp from the Golden Oldies, so so fun!  And I did a little paper piecing, I cut out all the ladies polka dots bathing suit, I even popped one of the ladies too, and I finished it up with a few finishing touches, VIOLA!   I hope you like it.

You Rock

Hi Ai fans
I love this stamps, this is Rockin Ruby set 4210 Imagine being able to sit and soak in a rocking chair when you are old. Wonderful!  This time I have two things for you. Sometime the text dosen´t  fit, as it is, like here. You Rock,so I hide the part I dont ´want  to stamp at first I stamp the part I want, and then I make the same thing  with the outher word and put it a litle bit down

I only used  card stocks this time, no pattern paper. But punched with an old M.Stewart punch.
who has no corner. I've figured out where to start and then just repeat all around the paper.
Begin in the middle of the large hole punch then as far as you want it.

Cut the  paper so it end in the middle of a large hole,in the opposite end too.
Make sure the big holes fits against eachother in the paper and punch.
Puch as far as you want it.

Repet again at the two last sides

Have fun and Good luck!

Happy Black Friday!

Hello Ai friends, and happy "Black Friday". I've only gone shopping once in my life on "the day after Thanksgiving", and let's just say once was enough for me! I'd rather be at home stamping! So without further delay... onto today's creation! I LOVE making Christmas cards! And I absolutely LOVE this super cute Art Impressions stamp of "Decorating Penguins", SKU# T3055. This image just makes me smile. Who doesn't love penguins? And this image was so much fun to color in with alcohol markers. I thought I would give Cryogen Metallic cardstock a try. And let me tell you, I LOVE this paper is all I can say! It is great for alcohol markers, as I used a combination of Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. It is really pretty because there are little metallic flecks in the paper. You can see them in my close up shot.

If you click on the photo you will get a larger view. Cryogen is super smooth for alcohol marker coloring, and the colors blend together like a dream.
I made the base of the card with kraft cardstock. Then used a layer of Real Red cardstock from Stampin Up! Its a really nice bright red for Christmas. Next I chose a really cute Cosmo Cricket 6"x6" Christmas designer paper pad that I purchased last year that I still LOVE. I used three coordinating papers and distressed the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink, then sewed them onto the kraft base. I wanted to add some texture to my card, so I embossed a piece of red cardstock with "Petals A Plenty" embossing folder from Stampin Up. For embellishments I added some clear crystals from Hero Arts, and a snowflake I die cut. I didn't have a lilac crystal, so I used a lilac colored copic marker and custom colored it.

I stamped the inside with a BRAND new Ai Christmas sentiment stamp, SKU# G4169. Love that sweet and simple sentiment. I added a few snowflakes (very old Hero Arts stamp) in blue dye ink.  I hope you enjoyed this fun Christmas card creation. Thank you for stopping by the Art Impressions blog today! Happy Stamping!
