Happy Birthday by Judith

Hello Ai Fans!

When is a Pop Up not really a Pop Up?

This image is from one of the Ai Pop Ups (new sets) but is one of the 'extra' images that you get to help make a scene if you choose to use him.  I decided to let him be the focal point of his own card.

LOL, he looks a little worried to me :)

Have a fabulous Friday :)

Wine-o-Clock by Cheryl Valadez

Hello Ai Fans!

Today I'm sharing another card featuring the Ai Pop Ups.  This particular design is not yet available in the Ai Online Shop, but you can check your local stamping and scrapping stores and there's a good chance you will find them there.  If not, request that your local store carry it ;)

I decided that I would cut this Ai Pop Up down to fit a standard A2 card.  It was easy peasy to do and because I fussy cut around the sun and wine glass, I didn't lose a single detail.  By the way, did you know that yesterday was National Drink Wine Day?  Yep!  No joke!  Ok, for some of us, EVERY day is Drink Wine Day, but it is nice to know that it is recognized on somewhat of an official level :)  Hope you celebrated!

Stay Crafty!

Monochromatic cards by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
I've veered away from my usual style of bright colours and patterned paper today... to try a little sponging.  Art Impressions has a wonderful collection of "scene building" stamps which I have been itching to use... and as you can see, once I got started, I couldn't stop:
I've used two shades of grey ink and paper, with the occasional bit of black thrown in.  The first few cards are using Deer (Sku#H3236) and Grove of Trees (Sku#H895):

I kept my cards very CAS, so that they can be used for any occasion - I even thought about adding a little glitter to some of the snow so that they could be holiday cards.  The card bases are bright white in reality, even though they appear a little grey - but when I edited them any more, the detail of the sponging disappeared in the photo.  Here's a shot of how I masked the rectangles and moon:

Happy Stamping, everyone!

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday!
I know Valentine Day is over... but it's still super fun to send a little love here and there.
I just adored these cutie pies from the Valentot Love (SKU#T4004).
No pinks and reds here!  Plus, especially for the peeps who are experiencing all the snow and having the winter blues... how about some bright colors?

Can't wait to see your amazing creations!

Grin and Bear It by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a card that  I cased from a close friend of Ai.  Sandy Allnock from Operation Write Home who Art Impressions occasionally partners with made THIS fantastic card.  I fell in love with the green and the bear.  I decided to create my own version of it.

I used Grizzly (Sku#P1886) and Grin & Bear It (Sku#E1908) on the front.  The paw prints are from the discontinued Mouthfuls Dog set.  I added claws to make them bear prints.

The beautiful script verse is Happy Birthday (Sku#E597)

Valentines by Marie-Pierre

Hello Ai Fans!

Happy Valentine's Day! :)

I made some Valentines this year with the girls. 23 with my oldest who is in kindergarten and 18 with my youngest who is in Pre-school. It was fun! My new Ai Valentine stamps made it fun and easy!!

I used the Tweetheart set for my youngest and the Has Hugz set for my oldest. I only stamped with staz on ink on watercolor paper and they colored with water based ink diluted with water. When the images were dry, I went over it and added some details, like the beak and legs of the little birdie and a little background behind the bird to cover the imperfections. As you see, the girls did a very nice job and I think these stamps are perfect for coloring in with watercolor since it's very forgiving and we don't have to stay in the lines perfectly.

Here is my take on the same stamp. Of course it's the card I made to show them how to color their images. That's why they look alms the same. :)

I added the sentiment in a speech bubble that I die cut from a piece of watercolor paper on which I had made a wash of the same color I used to color the image.

Happy stamping!!
