Hello Ai fans!
Today I'm sharing a card that my friend requested.
She has a brand new nephew and wanted to congratulate her brother and sister-in-law. Her brother is a big Yankee fan.
The #2 has a double meaning...Mike's favorite player was Derek Jeter who was number 2. Tony is also Mike's second child.
The verses on the inside came from these sets.
Here's his cute little behind.
I added some pinstripes to his hat and jersey so he looked like a real Yankee.
Marvy No. 3 Blue
Copics:
T1, C00, E02, E50, E51, E93

Love, love this card! I don't understand how the alphabet is layered. How did you do the shadow red behind the white letters, is it part of the die set, just can't see in the photo? Also, what paper did you use for the stitched background? Thank you!!
Thank you for your kind words Sherry! Yes, the shadow behind the letters is part of the set. Each Sizzix Thinlet die has 4 shapes on it. The capital letter and lowercase letter as well as the upper and lower shadow for each. They can be used on their own or layered like I did. As for the paper...I'm not sure what brand it is. It's just a loose sheet that I got in the paper dept. either at Michael's or JoAnn Fabrics. Sorry I couldn't be more help on that.
One of the cutest cards ever!!!
Love how you personalized this, Renee! So cute and love all the extra touches to tie it to the theme!
Oh my gosh, this is so fantastic Renee!! LOVE how you gave him a Yankee uniform and hat!! Amazing card and creativity!!
