Happy Wednesday Ai Fans!!!
In todays video we will be creating a fun graduation shaker card with some cute interactive flaps that will reveal our sweet giraffe, owl and elephant images! This set is the Ai Graduation Set (5277) and also includes several coordinating sentiments such as Hey smarty pants, Nothing is beyond your reach, Welcome to the real world, Hats off to you, and many more!
So lets get started by stamping the front panel of the card using ALL of these wonderful sentiments. This is a great way to create a simple and easy background for any card. Now we can blend some ink around the edges of this card panel using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in Salty Ocean.
Next we can stamp our graduation critters! We will be using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens - Sugared Almond Pink, Yellow, Haze Blue, Cornflour Blue, Beige, Mid Brown, Lt Brown, Brown, Lt Gray, Gray. We will then use our detail scissors to cut out these images...leaving a little white border all the way around.
Next we can cut the Lift the Flaps openings from our card. Next I will show you how we can easily turn this into a fun shaker card using some clear acetate and some tiny gold stars!
Let's add our images into each of the windows and then let's also add some shiny gold metallic stars to the center of each flap!
Finally, we can stamp, cut and color some little grad caps for the center of each of the stars!
Keep in mind that you could easily use the school colors to personalize it for your special graduate!
