Hello my Crafty friends....Hope you are all enjoying your summer.
Time flies, and just like that I'm posting my last Christmas in July Series card.
I saved my favorite winter truck for this 5x7 inch card. I don't typically create this size card, but I really wanted to depict a nice, large winter scene. I used the Christmas trees throughout the scene and inside the truck. My favorite accent on the card is adding the string lights on the fence and the main tree.
I also used a white gel pen to draw in the snow flakes.
I matted the card using black stock paper, not a Christmas color. It's a powerful visual tool whenever you want your recipient to keep their attention within the constraints of the black matting. It's an effective hack!
I very much enjoyed creating these cards. I'm already looking forward to new sets to show case in this year's Christmas season. For now, let's continue enjoying our summer, bright color cards, long days, and extra crafting. See you all next week!!
