Art Impressions Blog: 3D Shadow Box - Delightful Daisies

Let's create this fun little 3D Shadow Box using the brand-new Daisy Border Set (6188) and the brand-new Euro Cottage Set (6184). The daisy border set also includes the "For my friend" sentiment.

These sets are part of a brand-new Countryside Series which includes three border sets and two cottage sets. The other sets include the Poppy Border set, the Tulip Border set, and the Swiss Village set.

We will also be using one of the new 2026 FREEBIE Bear Sets! These are available for free when you make a $30 purchase. The FREEBIE I have chosen for today is the little bear holding a daisy...perfect for today's card!

We will begin by stamping the images and coloring them using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Lt Violet, Ice Blue, Blue Gray, Yellow, Orange, Lt Green, Dk Green, Lt Gray, Dk Gray, Mustard, Beige, Mid Brown. Once the coloring is complete, we can die cut them and/or fussy cut them.

To create the shadow box, we will be using the Ai Storybook Template Die Set (6121). This is so easy and quick to use and assemble. I will give you all of the instructions and some tips and tricks in today's video!

We will color in the sky and add some spattering and die cut a few grassy borders to add to our layers.

Let's add the sentiment using a banner die from the Ai Storybook Template Die Set (6121) and pop it up on the front of the box.

Next, we can stamp a few more daisies for the front of the box and over the sentiment, and finally, we can also add a few sparkly gems and some twine/ribbon to the little tab at the top of the box!

This little box stands up nicely on its own, but you could use it as an ornament or even add an easel to the back of it to make it even more special!
