Country Barn & Journal by Janet

 Another Box Village Template is now in the store. It's an amazing barn, complete with a hay loft and a weather vane! This one is called 6244-Country Barn Accessory Set. There's also a new set of six stamp sets for the journal. There's also preprinted fall images on cards that come with dies. These are called 6174-Barn Accessory Set. The pumpkins and bird house on the front of the box and journal is from the accessory set. This is a super addition to line and these can be used on any fall projects. The Barn Set comes with all the pieces needed to transform the Village House into this super cute barn. There's a new paper pack in the barn theme also. It's called 6273-Country Barn PP. All of these sets make creating this set a breeze! Everything on this box comes with the products I've mentioned. The exception are the horse shoes above the door. I cut that with my Cricut machine.

To make this, I created the box first and then the journal. I made the poems for each of the six pages by making a file for them on Microsoft Word. These are not for sale unless you purchase Kim's online class but in the release video, Bonnie said it was fine to recreate them. This is what I did. If you don't have Word, you could do it with Google Docs or any other similar program. 

Today, I'm sharing the first two pages of the journal. In the next two weeks I'll share all the pages. The stamp set used on the page is called 6261-Hen House. I used the new flower set called 6271-Flower Set 7. I used two of them for the flowers and the foliage in the basket and can. I used green ink on the foliage and red on the flowers and stamped them in place.   

These hens are so cute and the flowers and pumpkins complete the scene.
