Art Impressions Design Team

Carol Hintermeier - Texas
Hello! I’m Carol Hintermeier and am a born and raised, lived-here-all-my-life Texan! My husband of 31 years and I have two beautiful daughters, plus one adorable fur baby Maltese named Baxter! I started out scrapbooking probably close to 20 years ago and about 15 years ago discovered the world of card making! I enjoy many different mediums in my card making. Of course, the Marvy Le Plume II markers are a must, in addition to Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and Distress Inks for watercoloring. For other coloring I really love using my Prismacolor pencils and my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I’m excited beyond words to be on Ai’s design team! My love for Art Impressions started with watching Bonnie at the two local craft shows around here and finally taking the plunge with a class in 2015! While I have many of the watercolor stamps, I’m looking forward to getting to know the Girlfriends and critters too while on this exciting journey!

Crystal Schneider - Missouri
Blog - Facebook - Instagram - Pinterest
Hi, I'm Crystal Schneider I live in Missouri with my husband of 15 years and our two girls. I started to scrapbook many years ago I made my first albums in high school. Scrapbooking was my first crafty hobby but I have moved to more of a card maker in the last year or so. I love to take a little time every day to create something crafty. Over the years I have tried almost every craft possible. I loved to crochet and now have a great collection of yarn but have not touched it in at least a year. Currently I am really enjoying stamping I love stamped images which I can color in. I love coloring stamped images in with either Spectrum Noir markers or watercolors.  I love to sip coffee when I'm relaxing in my craft room. When I'm not using my free time to craft you can find me spending time with my family or out running. The first thing that has drawn me to Art Impressions stamps was the funny images I can't help but chuckle when I see them. I love that there is a witty sentiment to go along with them. I am so excited to be joining the Art Impressions Design Team and I look forward to sharing my projects with everyone.

Jessica Shier - Washington
Hey everyone! My name is Jessica Shier and I live in Washington. I’ve lived in the lovely Pacific Northwest my entire life. My husband and I often take our dog and cat on camping trips. Sobe is 6-year-old miniature Dachshund and Mocha is a very talkative Tortoiseshell cat. I started my crafting journey when I was little, where I was always drawing or writing in some kind of journal. My passion grew when I was about to marry my husband in 2008. I wanted to make my own guest book and found so many fun Scrapbook items to play with at the craft store. I started using electronic machines but quickly dived in to stamping and coloring. I love playing with different colors! My favorite coloring medium has to be Copic Markers but honestly I love colored pencils and watercolors, too! In the beginning of 2018, I started concentrating more on my blog and starting a YouTube channel. I’m so excited to be a part of this amazing Ai Design Team. I’ve been a fan of Art Impressions silly characters and funny sentiments for a long time. There is definitely something for everyone!

Jil Lebel - Florida
Blog
Hi guys! I'm Jil Lebel from Kissimmee, Florida. I'm about 20 minutes away from Walt Disney World & take full advantage of that fact by visiting the parks all the time. I've been married to the love of my life Joey for ten years now. We have two grown sons & several cats & dogs. I started stamping about 25 years ago when I was pregnant with my first son Kane, when I worked in a craft store. I learned how to heat emboss a rubber stamped image over a toaster & I was hooked on card making! I was on the Posh Impressions Design team many years ago. I did samples, make & takes, demos & classes for many stamp stores in Central Florida. I love to work with a little bit of everything but all types of water coloring are my favorite. I have had a long love affair with Ai stamps. I bought some Ai watercolor stamps to make faux postage in the early 2000's & now I have the entire watercolor collection. I also love the humor & animated faces of the Ai characters & look to them for funny cards. I am delighted to be a part of the Ai design team!

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark III.  I am so grateful to be here and I look forward to card making with you.

Renee Matarese - New York
Blog
Hello, I'm ReneĆ© Matarese and I'm from the upstate NY area near Binghamton. I've been married to Tom since 1995 and we have two children, Dominick (13) and Makena (almost 12). I started cardmaking in 2005.  My cousin came over for lunch and gave me a card-making lesson.  (I already was scrapbooking at that point.)  I thought "well, that was fun but I just don't see myself making cards." I couldn't be more wrong.  There was a family birthday shortly after my "lesson" and I decided to make the card.  I haven't bought a card since.  I always loved art growing up and took every art class possible in H.S. and one in college.  My favorite thing to do was just sketch with a pencil...until I started making cards and now I'm obsessed!  Something I couldn't live without is my Cuttlebug!  My CB is so important to me because I don't think I'd know how to make card without a Spellbinders die or an embossing folder. I also LOVE my border punch collection and I'm constantly adding to that!!  My one true weakness is paper.  My paper collection is out of control.  My favorite style to design in is vintage/shabby chic but I'm always willing to try anything which is why I love challenges!  I discovered Art Impressions shortly after I started making cards.  At the time I used to just buy whatever stamps were in my local craft store. The selections were not great and soon I had everything I wanted.  I decided to go on line and look.  I believe I Googled "funny stamps" (because I love sending humorous cards) and AI popped up everywhere. I took a look and was soon hooked!!  I owned hundreds of AI stamps before I became a designer for them. My absolute favorites are the golden oldies!! I'd love to see some new ones added in that category... ; ) This is truly my "Dream Team" and I've loved every minute that I've worked for this wonderful company!

Sharon Caudle - Nevada
Hi! My name is Sharon Caudle and I am over the moon happy to be joining this amazingly talented team!! I reside in the biggest little city in the world - Reno, NV, where the sun shines about 320 days every year. I am lucky enough to be married to my soul mate, and we share five wonderful children and almost (one on the way) seven grandchildren! During the day, I'm the office manager for a regional trucking company based in the northwest. And at night, you can usually find me sitting at my craft area, many times with a grandchild in my lap. Cardmaking became a part of my life when I bought my first Cricut, but I was drawn into the wonderful world of stamping about 9 years ago when I discovered Copic markers. Wanna talk addiction?? LOL! I simply must color every day. Also high on my list is paper, flowers, ribbon, and my Silhouette. Witty cards have always been one of my weaknesses, so when I laid eyes on Art Impressions stamps, it was love at first sight!! The personalities of AI images draw me in and I just can't get enough of them! I'm super excited to be able to share my creations with you. :)

Watercolor Guest Design Team

Dot Freel - Nevada
Hi there! I’m Dot Freel and I've lived in Las Vegas, Nevada with my husband Tad for the past 31 years. We raised our three sons here and now have three grandsons and two granddaughters. I’ve been a crafter since I was a little girl. I’m happiest when I am creating, from painting with acrylics, to quilting or sewing, and finally to scrapbooking and card making. I’ve been card making since about 5 years ago. I am so grateful to have happened upon the wonderful card-making community on Instagram after joining one of Kathy Racoosin’s 30-day coloring challenges. That led me to watch one of Bonnie Kreb’s watercoloring videos on YouTube and I was hooked immediately! I’m sure I was the happiest person in history to join the design team for Art Impressions! I love everything Ai but my favorite products are definitely the watercolor stamps. I’m still learning to color with alcohol inks but hope to improve with practice. Meeting Bonnie and all of the Ai people at their annual sale made me become a lifelong fan of Ai. I look forward to more creating and making new crafty friends!

Tricia Kennedy - Arizona
Instagram
Hello! I’m Tricia Kennedy from Gilbert, Arizona. My husband Mike and I’ve been married 26 years (we’ve actually known each other since we were 8). We have two adorable Shih tzus – Abner and Anakin. I’m a crafter, scrapbooker (traditional and digital), card maker, watercolorist, photographer, cross stitcher and baker. In 2016, I took a class with Bonnie and Kendra and immediately fell in love with watercoloring the Art Impressions way. It thrills and amazes me that with a few AI Watercolor Stamps, paper, pens, water and a brush, I can create tiny masterpieces for framed art, cards and gift giving. I am soooooooo happy to be part of the Art Impressions team.

Tricia O'Bin - New Hampshire
Hi, I’m Tricia from Southern New Hampshire. I love all the seasons here in New England. There is inspiration everywhere. I met my best friend and husband in 1990 and we were married in 1999. We have one child, Nicholas. My crafting journey began when I was young. I loved to spend my summer days outside creating watercolor papers, painting and doing anything crafty. In 2005, my sister-in-law introduced me to scrapbooking and I was hooked. I created a lot of scrapbooks, then I attended a card making class and again, hooked. I love to color using all types of mixed media, watercolor, markers and colored pencils. I started using AI watercolor stamps in 2016 after watching a YouTube video and thought it looked fun and easy. I bought a LOT of stamps from the AI online store and some markers. I began by using a journal to practice and critique my work, so I could see my growth. It was truly amazing how easy to learn and exceed even my own expectations with the watercolor line. I got on Instagram and started sharing my projects. In 2017, my mom and I attended a watercolor class with Kendra (soooo thrilled) and I was even more in love. I also started my YouTube channel in 2017 because there weren’t a lot of AI Videos out there showing how to watercolor with AI Stamps. My goal was to be a member of the Art Impressions Design Team and shortly thereafter it became a reality. I am so thrilled to be a part of this exciting team.
