Fall Blessings Abound by Janet

Fall is such a great time to take stock of the many blessings in our life. Even when there are challenges, there are always blessings to acknowledge and appreciate. Today I embrace that message with my card.

I've chosen to use Windows To The World 5449 - Autumn Window Set. These are designed to be used with 5408 - Shadowbox Window Die but they can also be used alone to good effect. Each set in the series has a hand written note around the window image and they are often quite inspirational. This one touches me with, "May bundles of blessings abound & joy be yours in abundance this year." What a great wish to offer someone! I stamped this one with Memento ink in Rich Cocoa. I colored it with Copic markers.

The stamps in this line will color up quickly. I added some shading but I didn't use more than two colors for any of the stamped areas. This set comes with a separate basket with veggies and a die to cut it out. Typically the basket would be staged on the outside of the Shadowbox Window Die. In this case, I added a foam dot to help it stand out.

The finished card is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". I cut the stamped image and the light brown mat with 5061 - Square Double Stitched Dies. I mounted the stack on a fall patterned paper and then directly to a dark brown card base. To finish it off, I added a green button with twine and three green glitter enamel dots.

And speaking of buttons, don't forget to enter your card into the Button and Bows challenge for your chance to win a free stamp set! It's a great opportunity do I hope you'll play along with us.

Thankful for Autumn Card by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing another ShadowBox Window card featuring the new Autumn Window Set. Check out all of Ai's 2021 new releases here! This project is featured on my personal blog today as well, check it out here

I used the ShadowBox Window die to create the 3D window in the front of the card. I used coordinating Fall patterned paper to decorate the front of the card as well.

Below the window, I placed the "Thanks" die cut to go along with the harvest scene. I used my Spectrum Noir Tri Blend markers to color the Thanksgiving scene from the Autumn Window Set.

Check back next week for more Ai inspiration made by me!

Autumn Farm Scene - New Windows to The World Set!

Are you in love with the newest Windows To The World sets issued this week at Ai? In case you're not familiar with them, the line features miniature peeks into a scene and always include a separate stamp to use as a 3D element. They come with dies as well. They also always include a hand written message around all sides of the image. Today I'm featuring the new #5449 - Autumn Window Set. I'm a big fall lover and this scene doesn't disappoint!

The Windows To the World sets can be used several ways. They are sized perfectly to coordinate with the new #5408 Shadowbox Window Die set. You can also use them with #4619 Window Die Set or #4760 Garden Window Stamp and Die Set. These dies give a lot of dimension and the feeling that you really are looking through a window.

For this card I decided to keep it very simple. I created a square card base and applied a patterned paper that had pretty orange houses with gold foil accents. Then I cut a window on the front using the Square Double Stitched Die set. Inside the card, I stamped the image so that it appears through the window. Two of the Square Stitched dies to make a frame for the window in the same cardstock as the base.

Then came the fun part! I colored the two stamps with Copic markers and cut out the basket. I mounted the basket in the scene with double-sided foam tape. A brown bow at the top was all the extra embellishment I thought this card needed.

This window would be a lot of fun to color in so many mediums! Pencils, water color and alcohol markers all work perfectly and they make up super quickly since they are fairly small images.

I hope you liked seeing this fantastic new set. I highly recommend that you go check out all the newest sets now available at the Ai store!

Happy Creating!
