Hello Ai Fans!
I really love anything dog related and this Birthday Dog Wheelie set is just the cutest happiest dog ever. I love his grin and the interactive element is so much fun to play with! I have a video for you showing how I made this playful card.
I colored the background and stamp images with Copic Markers. I apologize for leaving the coloring out of this video, it would have just made it so long. I do still have the clips though. I also used two of the larger Art Impression Rounded Rectangle Double Stitched dies to die cut the background panel and the gray pattern paper.
The bicycling dog came together quickly after I was finished with all the coloring. I used the second to smallest circle die to make some extra cuts through my pattern paper and background, right where the top brad is on the thigh. That way the back of the brad could move around freely and it would not rub against the background. You would do the same with foam tape to create an area around the back of the brad, if you popped up a panel.
I also used a bit of twine to create a texture element as the string of the balloon. I really enjoyed playing with this set. It does remind me of a children's pop-up book. For the sentiment I used a bit of gold embossing powder and embossed it right to the background. Copic Markers Used: Wheelie Dog stamps W0, W1, W3.
