Did You Say Chocolate?

Hi Ai Fans!
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and the Art Impressions set called "Love and Chocolate" is perfect for the "chocoholics" in your life! My hubby loves chocolate and I always have to make sure we have some in the house. He doesn't necessarily eat it but He has to know it's there LOL.
I decided to use red cardstock and an embossing folder from Amy Tangerine called "Love Spun" to create my background. Then I used the SSS Ring frame and cut out a section on the background paper. I cut a second ring frame from pink paper and "inlaid"it into the background! Doodlebug's paper pad Sweetheart collection makes the perfect little circles for the ring frame! The sentiment from the "Love and Chocolate" set and a few enamel dots finish off my card front!
The inside sentiment is actually from the Ai "In The Air Set". I always like to decorate the inside of my cards too.

Here's to Love by Dana Warren

Hello AI Fans!!

Dana here with a card idea that can help to stretch your stamps. Today's card features the stamp set Love and Chocolate and technically it is in the Valentine's area of the AI shop! BUT you don;t have to use this for only Valentine's day card!! The set it self dosen;t mention valentine's and the sentiment that does come with the image is great for any kind of day that you want to express your love, you know, like anniversary, just because, world chocolate day etc!!!

I started by stamped the Love and Chocolate image on some water color paper and then used my Distress Markers to color it in. Next i did a little fussy cutting (don't forget to run black marker around the edges).

Next i die cut a heart from red card stock and cut a strip of Kraft card stock. I added the Kraft, then the heart, trimming off a bit of the heart that went over the edge. The heart die i used by Little B comes with a few extra pieces so can add some faux stitching around the heart die cut, this adds some nice interest and texture to the card!!

Then i just added the colored image with foam tape and then stamped the sentiment in the top right corner! Easy Peasy, especially helpful if your in a time crunch, like when you forget an anniversary!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!!

Here's to Love....by Sharon Caudle

Hello AI Fans!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it's already Valentine's Day! I hope you get your fill of chocolate this weekend!  :)  Today I'm featuring another one of Art Impressions Valentine's Day Stamp Sets called
Love and Chocolate Set (sku 4367).  She does look like she's having lots of fun, doesn't she!!!

To create the image panel like this, I used Spellbinder Ovals and Spellbinder scalloped ovals, and put the lower left corner of the paper through the opening of the die so it wouldn't cut it. I thought it turned out kind of fun. What do you think?

Copics used:
E11, E00, E000, R20, E21, E23, E47, E71, E70, C2, C3, C5, Y32, Y35, E33, E35, R81, R83, R85, R22, R24, R27

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and hope you have some time this weekend to get crafty!

here's to love...by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing another valentine card!  Seriously... if you haven't checked out the Ai Valentine images yet, you need to do so!  Today I used the Love and Chocolate Set (4367).

The sentiment reads- Here's to love... and obscene amounts of chocolate!  I like this gal's thinking!  mmm.

I paper pieced her top in a fun polka-dot paper and colored the rest of her to coordinate.  I could go for 3 boxes of chocolate, how about you?  ;)

Have a great day and… happy stamping!
