"LOVEly" Wedding card by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a wedding card that I made.

I've used two different sets to make my card.

The flowers are from 5272 – Blossom Border Set from the Bible Journaling series.

The cake that represents the "O" in LOVE is from 5254 – Wedding Cake Set from the Basics line.
The background panel was created using the Quatrafoil Panel from Amazing Paper Grace at Spellbinders.  I couldn't find a link so I think it may be retired.

I used more of the flowers on the inside where I add MR & MRS.
They're the same flowers from the front of the card except I used the full stamp.  On the front of the card I trimmed off the end piece.

Wedding Cake Cards - Congratultions- by Crystal

Hi AI fans! I have a set of cards to share that I made using the Wedding Cake stamp set. I will be using this stamp set over and over again I have so many ideas of ways to use it.

For this card I stamped the triple layer cake with some brown ink to make my background paper. I stamped the image once onto white smooth card stock and die cut it out after I colored it in with alcohol markers. I added pattern paper to the bottom over my stamped pattern paper that I made.

I adhered the die cut cake with foam tape over one of the cakes on my kraft card stock background. I kept the sentiment simple by just stamping it onto a small strip of white card stock. I added a couple sequins next to the sentiment and matted the panel onto a piece of pattern paper.

My second card is really simple I die cut a oval into some striped pattern paper and adhered it onto Kraft card stock.

I stamped the sentiment at an angle onto some solid purple card stock.

On my last card I have to share to day I matted some purple card stock onto Kraft card stock.

I added some stripes of paper to the side of the purple card stock. I stamped the sentiment onto a white card stock and adhered it to the bottom of the card.

I hope this gave you some new ideas to use this stamp set.

Happy Stamping!

Wedding Cake Set Cards by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

For this weeks cards I used the Wedding Cake stamp and die set to make two wedding cards.  I really went down two different paths with each card.  This set is perfect for any wedding because you can make the cake with the wedding colors.
The first card is a bit more straightforward than the second one.  It has a traditional fold. The images were stamped on Copic Ultra White card stock with Gina K black Amalgam ink and colored with Copic Markers.  The colors are listed at the end of this post.  The images were cut out with the matching dies that come with the stamp set. The greeting was stamped on a separate piece of paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and cut with the Oval Double Stitched Dies. The background paper and frame are from the Tonic Mint Blush 6" x 6" paper pad.  The frame is cut with the Mama Elephant Park Ave. Dies. The frame and large cake are added to the card with foam tape.
The second card is on a flip card base from Anna Griffin. The images were stamped on Copic Ultra White card stock with Gina K black Amalgam ink and colored with Copic Markers.  The colors are listed at the end of this post.  The images were cut out with the matching dies that come with the stamp set. I attached the cake, swirl and cake slice to the card with foam tape.  I'm sorry I don't have more pictures for you, but this card was very hard to film.
Copic Colors Used:
Dark Yellow - E13, Y15, Y11, Y00
Light Yellow - Y11, Y00
Purple - BV13, BV02, BV01, BV00
Green - G21, YG63
White - N1
Rose - RV11, RV32, RV34
Cake - E41, E42, E43
Flowers - BV000, BV01, BV13

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Happy Wedding Day! by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!
Today I'm sharing two cards that I made using Art Impressions new

I also used 5065 – Oval Double Stitched Dies on both my cards.  I trimmed it on my green card so that it looked like a tablecloth.

I love black and white for weddings so I made them both in that theme but with different pops of color.  I've also been trying to use some of my older supplies lately.  That's been kind of a goal of mine...to use what I already have instead of adding more embellishments to my already huge collection.  I used a button on each of my cards.

If you like these cakes, and how could you not, you should check out the new birthday cake set too!

It's difficult to see but I also added some Wink of Stella to the trim and flowers.  It looks much better in person. I just couldn't get my camera to pick it up well.

Copics used:

Congratulations- Two Wedding Cake Cards by Crystal

Hi, Ai fans! This week I made two cards using the new Wedding Cake stamp set. I had so much fun making these two cards. For my first card, I stamped this layer cake with Memento black ink colored it in with alcohol ink.

I thought this cake looked like a chocolate cake to me yummy. So I colored the cake in light brown and the frosting a darker brown.

I die cut Kraft card stock to layer with the double stitched rectangle dies. I love the look of the same color card stock layered onto the same color. I used a oval to die cut a opening onto the center of the Kraft card stock and a smaller oval to die cut out white card stock to place the cake.

This card was made very much like the first card. I die cut a much larger stitched oval opening for the cake to sit.

I stamped the sentiment "Congratulations" onto a white strip of card stock and adhered it at the bottom of the oval.

I adhered both card panels to a side folding 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card base.

Happy Stamping!

This week Carol has a "treat" for us with her project featuring our Greenery Invites!

~Hello Ai friends!~

Today I'm happy to be the feature designer for today's new challenge!  For my challenge inspiration, I've used the beautiful Greenery Invites to create an invitation set.

Here are steps for this set:
  • Trim Neenah Solar White 110# into three pieces--two at 4-¼" x 2-¾" and another to 4" x 5-¼".  I recommend using the 110# card stock so the warping isn't too bad when heat embossing.
  • Stamp the wreath onto the 4" x 5-¼" card stock with Copic safe ink.
  • Stamp the greenery onto the two smaller cards.
  • Color the images with Copic markers.  My colors are listed below.
  • After my coloring was done, I decided to stamp the berry branch randomly around the wreath.
  • Die cut some gold metallic card stock with fine frames dies twice.  Adhere the two pieces together for each frame.  Set aside to dry.
  • Emboss the sentiments onto the cards by stamping with Versamark and sprinkling on the embossing powder.  I used a black embossing powder.  If you do, be sure to use that anti-static bag thoroughly to eliminate the black specks.

To finish up I adhered the gold frames.  I added foam tape to the back of the larger card and adhered it to a top-folding A2 card base.

I thought the berries needed some dimension, so I added some Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops to each one.  I also added a few drops to the other cards to tie the theme together even more.

There are so many ways to use this set!  I didn't use all the images included, and also, there's a "thank you" sentiment so you can make beautiful thank you cards with this set too!  Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you'll join in this fun new challenge!

Copic markers:
rounded leaves:  G46, YG45, G12, YG41, YG11
oblong leaves:  G17, G05, G02
pointed leaves:  G29, G28, G07, YG06
