Bad Day In Progress by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

Dana here with a card we can all relate too!! We all have bad days, and this would be a perfect card to send someone as a little humorous pick me up!!

Dana Warren - Kraft Paper Stamps - Art Impressions
I started by stamping the Flamingo on some watercolor card stock. Then I used my Distress Markers and a little water to color it up! I used: Peacock Feathers, Spiced Marmalade, Spun Sugar, Evergreen Bough.

Next, I trimmed the image to fit my card base and cut off the top portion by first using my paper trimmer to cut straight to the image, from both sides. Then I fussy cut around the image. With a black marker, I colored the edge of the image that I cut out.

I stamped the funny sentiment to the left of the image and then added it to some pattern paper with foam tape. Then the whole panel was adhered to a white card base. I think that the image and sentiment carries the card nicely and it didn;t need any enamel dots or sequins!

Thanks for stopping by!! Happy Stamping!!

bad day in progress by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing a card using one of the fun animal sets from the Zoo Crew line.  This one is the Flamingo Set (4192) and has a great sentiment that I think we all can relate to one time or another!

I love the short and sweet words...it gets right to the point! lol. Don't you feel like that poor flamingo sometimes?  The expression on his face says it all.

Check out the Zoo Crew line for more fun Ai images with perfect coordinating sentiments.  Have a great day and… happy stamping!

It's A Bad Day!

Hi Ai Fans!
Today I am sharing with you a few cards I created using the Art Impressions stamps set from the Zoo Crew line called "Flamingo Set"
I tried a few variations in my colouring, and since I couldn't decide on a favourite I'm showing you all three!
I coloured up my images using Copic Markers and then cut around the image. I decided to use some papers from the Echo Park Splendid Sunshine 6x6 pad. I thought the bright colours went perfectly with my Flamingos. I kept the design simple and only added some navy twine and a few sequins.
Copics Used:
Flamingo body: RV21, RV23, RV25/ R20, R21, R22
Beak: N3, N5, R00, R02/ YR04/YR07
Legs: N0, N1/ R00, R02

Thanks for stopping by and.....
Happy Stamping!

Bad Day?!

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday to you!  I hope you had a great weekend and I have something super fun for you today.  Got to love this flamingo from the Flamingo set (SKU#4192), he is just too funny.  Bad Day or not?   He will sure bring a smile to us, hehe!

On to the card, I have been wanting to try out the distress paint, so I did just that.  I used broken china and pickled raspberry for this.  I applied some paint on to the craft sheet and allow the paint picked up by the card stock to create a 'marble' effect, I also spritzed some water to allow the color to mix a bit.  And I colored Mr. Flamingo with copic markers.  I hope you like it.
