Here for the Party! by Mercy Sauer

 Happy Thursday Ai Crafters...

Mercy here featuring another newly released set from the Ai Spring 2022 Door Series!

OMGthis set is up there with one of my favorites from this release, it is so cute!

Often, I get my inspiration from simply looking at a stamp set and thinking of a story, or a moment within a story. In this case, I
thought the cute critters were having a birthday party with lots of presents and colorful balloons.

The elephant peeking out of the door inviting his friends to the party and the shy giraffe looking through the window is so charming!

I LOVE this card!

Once you own the basic door set (set 5512) the rest is up to you

You do you

For this card, the add-on set is 5491, however, there are others to choose from in the Ai website

It’s an easy card to create with basic Copic coloring, lots of pop ups, some Glossy Accents and fun assembly.

A simple card with a BIG punch, is sure to bring a smile to a lucky recipient.

Hope you like my card, enjoy your weekend and I will talk to you next Thursday!

šŸ’„NEW RELEASE---Knock Knock by Mercy Sauer

Hello Ai Crafter, this is Mercy with very exciting news. Ai released NEW products!!!

The releases will be unveiled between April and June and I am thrilled to be part of the design team and play with new sets.

Folks these sets are so versatile and beautiful.

My focus for this card was the door, the entryway. I chose not to include the walls of the house nor any other detail, just the door. Who would not feel welcomed in this home? I love flowers in front of the house, as a matter of fact, in my home I have a similar set up. Mix of flowers, a lantern, the occasional butterfly, even though if I should be honest, you will find more lizards and unwelcomed flying critters than butterflies.

I love the symmetry of this design. I stamped and die cut the mirrored image of the potted trees and the flower pots. I use this trick often to stretch the versatility of my supplies. I love the wreath and welcome mat. The elements included in this set can be used in so my other settings, mixing and matching the old with the new.

Behind the windows I used warm yellow paper and vellum to suggest the lights are on inside the house and glossy accent on the light fixture.

I popped up most of the elements creating dimension, as you know, my favorite!

Notice how I left the door slightly open, welcoming guests!

Love it, a set worth adding to your own stash.

Enjoy and keep checking back to see more new releases
