Hello Ai fans!
I'm a big fan of all of the Ai Mini Front & Back stamp sets... and today I'm sharing a little card that I made with the Frog & Crab Mini Set (Sku #4406):
I used a paper pack with a seaside theme... then freehand drew the seashell (he's supposed to be a hermit crab, get it?!) and coloured it with Copic markers to give it a little dimension. You can't see the zig zag stitching too well, but it's a soft shell pink colour that brings out the pinks in the paper a bit.I always like to have a little bit of patterned paper on the inside that will show through the opening.
Here's a closeup of the crab so that you can see the pretty background paper showing through a bit better. This set includes both the crab & the frog... so stay tuned for my froggy cards in the near future. Happy stamping!
Copics used: Seashell - E55, E53, E51
Crab - R35, R32, R30

Nice job on the seashell...that's a great idea!
Super super cute!! I love nautical themed cards. I wish I had more excuses to make them. I think I have this crab stamp. I'll have to look through my papers and see what I can come up with.
Nice work! Freehand, huh? Excellent!
Ha, ha, ha. That is so cute! Thanks for the inspiration; I have that image.
Karen, this is so so cute! Totally awesome! <3
**Hint for everyone: If you have papers with seashells on them...especially large ones like I've used, there is usually one that has an opening that would work for our little crab here... so put it up to the window and trace over it, or cut it right out of the paper and punch a whole for him to peek out of :o)
Karen your shell is amazing! Love this little hermit crab!
This is adorable, Karen. I enjoy creating with little sea critters. Great free hand shell & thanks for the tip!
