Hi AI fans! How is everyone doing?
Now that is is November I want to start decorating for Christmas but the rest of my family likes to wait till after Thanksgiving.
I played with the Twinkle in a Tangle stamp set this week since I'm not decorating yet but I want to start getting in the Christmas spirit. I think this set is so cute I had to stamp it twice so I could color it in twice. I colored both of them all most the same except a couple things.
For the first card I started with stripes of pattern paper in green, blue, and red adhered them diagonally to a piece of scrap paper. I then die cut them out with a stitched 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" rectangle die. I used a decorative die to cut out one side of the card stock that the image was stamped on. I adhered the image to the pattern paper with some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment "twingle in a tangle" onto white card stock and die cut it out with a double stitched oval die. The last thing I did for this card was add some glitter stars which I had laying on my desk left over from another project.
For my second card I fussy cut the image out. My first idea was to adhere the couple directly to the stripes of pattern paper but I thought it was a bit to busy. I ended up die cutting a stitched oval to place the couple on of a different color then the red in their clothing so they would pop and not get lost in the busy paper. I added everything to some musical note pattern paper. I did the sentiment the same as the first card.
I really am happy with the way both cards turned out and I will be stamping and coloring this image many more times.
