You Warm my Heart by Crystal
Hi Ai fans! This week I had fun I made a few cards using Christmas slimline set and I have one of my favorites to share with you all today. I didn't make a slimline card with the Christmas slimeline set I used a couple of the smaller images from the set.
I stamped one of the birds and the bunny onto smooth white card stock and colored them in with alcohol markers. Once I was done coloring them in I die cut them out with the coordinating dies that come with the stamps.
I used the little images to make a little scene in the woods with glitter card stock as snowy hill and die cut some trees. I die cut some stars for the tops of the trees. I stamped the sentiment "You warm my HeaRt" onto a double banner stitched die. I matted the little scene onto some pattern paper. I then adhered the whole panel to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" top folding card base.

Merry Chris-mice! Paper Piecing Card by Crystal
Hi Ai fans! This week I played with the Christmas Mice set. I thought this stamp set would be fun to do paper piecing with but wow it has lots of tiny pieces. It was fun to make this card but took a lot longer then I thought it would. I think if I did this again I would only paper piece the couch and color the rest.
So if you haven't ever paper pieced with a stamp set this is how I do it. I stamp the image onto my background in this case it was just a white piece of card stock. I then stamp the stamp on to different piece of pattern paper. After I figure out which pattern I want where I fussy cut the pieces out and glue them down to the original stamped image I stamped onto the background.
I kept the background plain since the image has a lot going on. I just matted the image onto some pattern paper and adhered it to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card base. I stamped the sentiment "Merry Chris-mice!" and matted it onto some pattern paper and adhered it under the image.
Do you like paper piecing or do you find it to take to long and rather color your image in? I actually find it relaxing and something a little different then always coloring an image in.
Happy Stamping!

Thankful for You Slimline Card -by Crystal
Hi Ai fans! We are one week away from Thanksgiving! Who is ready? I have not made to many Thanksgiving cards this year I think I skipped over Thanksgiving and started making Christmas cards, but this week I took a little break to make a Thanksgiving card to share with you all. I played with my favorite Ai Thanksgiving set-Feast Mode.
I added strips of pattern paper to a piece of scrap paper in bright colors. I then die cut it out with the second largest slimline die. I used the double stitched circle die to cut circles out for all of the characters I wanted to add to the card but instead of removing the circles I kept them in place.
I added the characters from the stamp set with foam tape and adhered them to the middle of all of the circles. I stamped the sentiment onto a double stitched rectangle and adhered it between the third and last circle on the card.
I matted the panel onto shimmer cardstock die cut out with the largest slimline die. I then adhered the whole panel to a 3 1/2" X 8" card base.

Christmas Truck Slimline Card by Crystal
Hi Ai fans! We are in November so I'm all about making Christmas cards. I played with two new items this week the Slimline dies and the Christmas Truck set. I have been loving making slimline cards lately. I stamped all of the images I wanted to use with Memento black ink onto smooth white card stock. I actually had a weekend out of town so when my husband was driving I colored. I love coloring when we travel or watch t.v.
Once I colored all of the images in and got home I die cut them out with the coordinating die that comes in the stamp set.
I love all of the elements in the stamp set. I used foam tape to a dimension to everything on the card. I used silver glitter card stock as the ground for the truck. I added snow flake resist paper to the top with blue ink so the snow flakes would pop.

Snowman Friends Card! by Crystal
Hi Ai fans! This week I played with the Merriest Christmas stamp set. I love snowmen and this set is so cute. I stamped it with Versafine black ink and colored the image in with water color markers. I kept the card very simple and after the image was colored in I die cut it out with a double sided stitched rectangle die.
I matted the image onto a few different pieces of pattern paper. I didn't add a sentiment so this card could be given as a holiday card but it could also used for a birthday or thank you card during the winter months.
Happy stamping!

Snowman Gift Card Holder by Crystal
Hi Ai fans! This week I made a gift card holder. Feels like now that most of my nieces and nephews are getting older I'm giving more gift cards for the holidays so it's kind of fun to make the gift card holder a little more fun then just a envelop. These would make giving a gift card to anyone at any age fun!
I used the Gift card envelope die along with the Snowman gift card die set. I embossed a piece of white card stock with a snowflake embossing folder. Then die cut it out with the Gift card envelope die and the scarf die. I inked the raised embossing snowflakes with blue ink to help them pop. I then assembled the gift card holder using strong adhesive.
I die cut the rest of the pieces for this adorable snow man with different colors of card stock and inked the edges with the same colors but a shade darker to add a bit of dimension. I adhered all of the pieces to the gift card holder. I kept this one really simple I thought the snowman was so cute that it really didn't need anymore added to it.

Merry Christmas Penguins Slim Line Card!
Hi Ai fans! I had fun this week making a slimline card. I used the new new Slimline die set. I also used the Penguin Cheer stamp set. I stamped the image with the three penguins, the cute little running penguin, string of lights and the ornaments. I colored them in with aqua color pencils. I spread the colors out with a water brush.
After all of images are dry I fussy cut them out. Stamped the sentiment "Merry Christmas to you and yours" I die cut the sentiment out with the smallest slimline die.
I started with the third smallest slimline die and die cut red card stock out with it. I added the images onto the red card stock and matted it onto green card stock and then white card stock.
Happy Stamping!
