See the Chocolate...

Hi Ai fans!

This week I played with My favorite things stamp set which is perfect for me. I love chocolate so I love the sentiment with this stamp set.
"See the Chocolate
Seize the Chocolate
Be the Chocolate"

This is my 100% I love all things chocolate.

I used this stamp set to make two cards this week. I stamped the image twice with Memento black ink and colored them in with alcohol markers.  The first card I shared I stamped the sentiment onto the front of the card.

I adhered the ladies faces looking through the window on the inside of the card.

The second card I adhered the sentiment die cut out inside of the card.

Live, Laugh Love!

Hi Ai fans!

This stamp set Live-laugh-love  just makes me laugh. I loved coloring this happy image in I couldn't help but smile when I was coloring them. They are having such a great time together.

I kept the focus on the image so I die cut it out with a double stitched oval die then matted it onto some pattern paper.

Hope Your Day is Pand-tastic

Hi Ai fans!

This week I have two cards to share using the Pand-tastic stamp set

I stamped the panda with his little paw in the air twice onto smooth card stock with memento black ink. The first one I masked off so I could ink the background with a polka dot stencil.

I adhered the circle and a sentiment banner to a polka dot embossed background. I matted the polka dot embossed background to pink card stock. I then adhered the whole panel to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card base.

The second stamped panda bear I fussy cut out after I colored it in. I adhered the panda to a foiled background die cut with a Circle double stitched die

I adhered the die cut circle and sentiment to a embossed background and adhered the whole panel to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card base.

I'll Never Be Old... By Crystal Schneider

Hi Ai fans!

This week I played with the Hot-java-mama stamp set. This lady is so much fun drinking her coffee right from the coffee pot. I stamped image onto smooth white card stock with memento black ink so I could color it in with alcohol markers. After I stamped and colored the image in I fussy cut it out.

I die cut a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" double stitched rectangle out of stripped pattern paper for the background. I then die cut a smaller double stitched rectangle out of kraft card stock. I wanted to make my own pattern paper so I stamped the coffee cup with the straw in straight lines across the kraft card stock. I stamped the sentiment onto a small piece of card stock and rounded two of the corners. I layered everything onto a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card base.

Pamper Your Shelf Tri-fold Card -By Crystal

Hi Ai fans!

Hope your week is going great I can't believe how fast this summer has flown by. This week I made a card that reminds me school will be back in session soon for my girls at least. We get out early for summer so we start early. Some schools might still have a month of summer left.

For my card this week I used the Pamper Your Shelf stamp set. This set reminds me a lot of my two kids the are always reading.

This was a really simple card. I wanted to watercolor the image in so I made my card base out of watercolor card stock. I stamped the images in with Vesafine black ink. Versafine black ink will not smear with water you do need to be careful to let it dry or heat set it so you don't smudge it.

I took Spectrum Noir aqua markers and scribbled them down onto my glass mat and picked the color up with a water brush to color the images in. The sentiment that comes in this set is cute "Pamper your-shelf".

I love once you open the whole card you see the little mouse sitting on a stack of books reading. It's just so adorable. I kept this card super simple only focusing on the stamped image. I really like how this card came out I was a little worried I wouldn't like it in the end because of how simple it was.

Farm Fresh Tri-Fold Birthday Card- By Crystal

Hi Ai fans!

This week I played with the Produce Stand MTF stamp set.

I stamped, colored and fussy cut the images out. I used the coordinating dies from the stamp set to die cut the awning and the window out. I trimmed a  piece of white card stock down to 3"X 9". I then scored 3" in on either side to make a square 3" tri-fold card.

I die cut the window to match the spots I attached the other die cut pieces.
That little raccoon sitting on his stool eating a watermelon is just too cute.

I die cut a double stitched 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" rectangle and adhered it to a card base. Stamped Happy Birthday onto a banner on the front of the card. I adhered the tri-fold card to the card base centered in the middle but towards the top.

It's time for a new challenge! This one is all about Animal Print, how fun is that?! Crystal has a tutorial to share for inspiration on our theme, let's take a look!

Hi Ai fans!

I love using stamps in different ways for this challenge Animal Prints I thought I would do some paper piecing and include some cow hide pattern paper as my animal print.

Since I was using cow hide animal print I used the Cowgirls Girlfriend set I though it would be a perfect match for cowhide. The Cowgirl set is one of my current favorite girlfriend stamp sets.

To start I stamped the image with Momento Black ink and I only colored in the part of the image that was not going to be covered with pattern paper, which was just the skin, hair and two of the friends boots.

I then stamped the image multiple times onto some different patterns of paper. I then fussy cut different pieces out.

I found it easiest to apply glue directly to the stamped image then place the pattern paper onto the full image. By using glue I had a little wiggle room to move the small piece around if I needed too. Once everything was adhered in place with glue I fussy cut the whole image out.

I die cut some pattern paper out to use as the background for the cowgirls. I stamped the sentiment "Have a boot scootin' two steppin' toe tappin' wild west birthday" onto a die cut tag with a dark brown ink. I adhered a couple of the layers with foam tape to add a little dimension to the card.

Once I had all of the layers adhered together I adhered the whole panel to a top folding 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card base.

I look forward to seeing what every one else makes for this challenge.
