“Java” Valentine Gift Card Holder by Lynn Dionne

Happy Wednesday Ai Fans!

Watch video tutorial here!!!

In today’s video we will be creating a special Valentine Gift Card Holder using the Java GCH Set (5343)! This set comes with all of the dies needed to create a take-out style coffee cup for the front of your Envelope Gift Card Holder (which does need to be purchased separately). But once you have the Envelope GCH Set you can then add any of the GCH Sets to this little pocket envelope.

We will be repurposing some left over Christmas/Holiday papers! This is a great time to look through your holiday paper stash and use up some of those leftovers. Many of the holiday papers include reds and pinks that are perfect for your Valentine cards. The paper pack that we are using today has some coordinating double sided papers that I thought would be perfect for my gift card holder. I did create this in a more masculine palette but you could certainly change out your pattern papers to get a more feminine look.

The GCH collection also includes the Santa Set (5339), Snowman Set (5340), Birthday Cake Set (5407), and the Black Cat Set (5341). If you really love these little gift card holders you may enjoy watching a few different videos I have done using these products, which are linked below:

Today’s card was inspired by the current Art Impressions Blog Challenge which is to create a fun and unique shaped card and I thought this "Java" cup would be perfect! Please join us in this super fun challenge by linking your card creations or just by checking out the cards submitted by your crafty peers!

Thank you so much for joining me today!  Have a fun and crafty day!!!
