Today we will be using a the brand new Ai Mushroom Cubbies Set (5728) which is an adorable set of stamps and dies that includes a cute little mushroom house, a gnome, and several adorable bugs! It also includes some coordinating sentiments that will perfectly compliment your cards and projects!We will be creating an oval shaped card with a woodgrain frame using the brand new Oval Dies Set (5727). We will be using a wonderful woodgrain paper and add some Distress Oxide Ink in Gathered Twigs to give it a more realistic look! In the video I will show you how to easily create this oval shaped card!
To set the scene for our card, we will be inking the background in Peeled Paint, Seedless Preserves, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. Let's use some Post-it Labeling and Cover-up tape to mask off the sky and grass.
Next we can stamp, color and die cut all of our images. All of the coloring today will be done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Pale Rose, Yellow, Orange, Plum Mist, Dk Yellow, Ever Green, Lt Green, Green Gray, Dk Green, Lt Gray, Flesh Colour, Beige, Mid Brown, Mocha Brown, Gray.
Using a white gel pen we can add some details and highlights to the images!
Let's assemble our card and cut just a sliver off the inside bottom panel of the card so that it will sit nicely on display without rolling around!
