Front Porch Patriotic Card w/ Metallic Texture Paste by Lynn Dionne

I've got a brand new front porch stamp and die set to show you today! This fantastic set is the Ai Front Porch Patriotic Set (5494) and includes all of the add-on items needed to create a beautifully patriotic front porch scene! Please note that you will need the Ai Front Porch Set (5512) to create the basic front porch and door. I'll talk a bit more about that in the video and give you a closer look at that set!

To set the scene for our card we will be creating a star filled sky using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in several beautiful blues and for some added dimension we will be using the wonderful Ranger Texture Paste in Metallic White! This paste literally goes on like butter and just adds so much texture and dimension to our starry sky!

Next we can stamp, color and die cut all of our patriotic images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Peach Pink, Carmine Red, Yellow, Smoky Yellow, Ever Green, Blue Gray, Blue, Lt Gray, Gray, Beige, Mid Brown.

For the sentiment let's go to the Ai Christmas Sentiments Set (5566) and select "Warmest Wishes" and stamp it onto the banner from the Ai Journal Template Die Set (5543). This will be a great place to put the red, white and blue banner!

Let's assemble the card and add a few sparkly stars to the pillow, mat, bucket and star!

This card is going to be great for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Veterans Day or any birthday celebrations that occur around these holidays! This is just such a great addition to the Front Porch Series....I hope you love this set as much as I do!
