Hello Art Impressions fans! Nina here and today I wanna share with you a card I made using this cute Sail Mini Dies Set.
Let me share with you our very long wait, here in South California, for the Sun! We have amazing beaches that are just 15 minutes away from my house but the weather this year is so out of its norm, it was raining yesterday in June!
Anyhow, before I bore you with my life story, let me show the card I created as we wait for the Sun so we can go to the beach.
I diecut the cute pieces from read, blue and white cardstock so I can mix & match these nautical colors to create a cluster that I wanted to place on the corner of sort of a window.
To make my pieces more sturdy I cut them multiple times from white cardstock and glued them on top of each other. I stacked 3 layers of each piece and the top layer was the colored cardstock.
I then cut an embroidery ring from Vanilla colored cardstock using a die from my stash. I just used the frame and the circle in the center I cut from light blue cardstock.
I attached my Sail dies pieces in a cluster on top of the embroidery frame and glued the flying bird a little above as it is flying higher then the cluster.
I placed the whole thing on a Kraft colored cardstock that I cut from a square dotted die from my stash.
I places my panel on a Vanilla colored rectangle card that I cut using a stitched rectangle die.
for the sentiment I used stitched alphabet dies to create the word SEA and used mini alphabet stickers to write "Lets get vitamin". I added a blue scrap of paper behind my card to make the vanilla color pop and added some hearts and dots here and there to decorate the card.
