Today we will be adding a little twist to a square card by creating a "twisted easel" card! I will give you all of the measurements for your cardstock, decorative papers and also the score lines needed to create this unique design in today's video.
Let's begin by die cutting the pretty Ai Large Snowflake Die (5353) as well as a few of the included snowflakes out of some sparkly cardstock. For the frame we can die cut three extras so that we can glue several frames together to give it a bit more substance and interest.
Next, let's stamp the little snowman from the new Ai WC Snow Globe Set (5791) which also includes this snowman, church, trees, deer, sentiment, and the base of the snow globe.
For the scarf and hat, we will do a bit of paper piecing using the double-sided papers from the Ai Mini Paper Pack (5835). We can also color in the remainder of the snowman using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Pink Haze, Haze Blue, Bright Yellow, Brick Beige.
Now we can create the base and mechanism for this unique card...and again I will show you exactly how to do this in the video!
We will add some pretty plaid layering paper to the front and some dotted paper on inside of the card.
Let's grab one more snowflake die from the Ai Large Snowflake Dies (5353) Set. This will also get layered up to create the piece that will hold our easel fold in place.
Finally, let's assemble the card and add a few sparkly silver gems from the Buttons Galore & More Jewelz Collection!

I had fun about the twisted easel card formate. A cute way to display your winter scene card Lynn. Thank you for the reminder. I think I will use this format when I design a card for my Grandma’s 111 th birthday.
