Serving Up Some Birthday Love!

Hello Ai Fans!

Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the Ai People 2014 "Birthday Love" (sku#4529) set. I love this set and can't wait to get out and play some Tennis myself! I think this image is versatile as it doesn't just have to be for a Birthday card!

The layout is pretty simple with just 2 rectangles, layered and slanted behind the main image. I added a border underneath the rectangles from coordinating paper. This time for this image I decided to paper piece her outfit and visor. I love how paper piecing ties everything together especially if you use matching paper that you used on your card! A bow, some enamel dots and of course my favourite....Wink of Stella and my card is complete!

 I used some of the leftover paper on the inside. The sentiment comes with the set and it's perfect for this image! You could always just stamp the "serving up some" part of the sentiment and add another stamp such as "thanks". That's how versatile this can be! Let your mind soar with possibilities LOL.

Old Guys Rule!

Hello Ai Fans!

My card design today uses the Old Guys Rule set (sku # 4474). I love this adorable set and it was one of the first stamp sets I purchased from Art Impressions.

Can't you just see these guys sitting on the bench in your neighbourhood park or at the Mall? They remind me a lot of the older gentlemen I looked after when I worked in a Nursing Home! I think that's why this set is one of my favourites.

Birthday Love Set by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!

I have a card featuring one of the 2014 Ai People, Birthday Love Set (Sku #4529).  This is actually a CASE of a card that I found on Pinterest!  You can see the original here.

 The Ai Design Team is enjoying a product swap this week with Scrapbook Adhesives, and I have used their wonderful 3D Foam Squares to pop up my main panel to give my card a little extra dimension:

 I love that they come in two sizes!  They're available in black, too.

 I've also used their E-Z Squares permanent adhesive to put my card together:
