Welcome Annalee (Little Sprout) by ReneƩ Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a sort of unusual baby card.  Our band director at school who is also in a band is expecting his first baby.  I wanted to do a music themed card to represent his love of music and the name he and his wife picked out...Annalee like the song by Levon Helm.  Here's the link if you're interested.  It's a very pretty song.

I've used the adorable Little Sprout #4317.

I know it's not your typical baby girl card but that's one of the most wonderful thing about being a card maker.  You can customize your card ANY way you want to suit the recipient.  I defy you to find a more appropriate card for him in any store!

(Copic Colors: RV00, RV10, RV21, R81, E50, E51, E93, W3, W5)

She's here!!
Look at what daddy put in her crib for one of her first photos!

Happy Birthday from Betty!

Hello Ai Fans!!

Today I'm sharing a super fun birthday card with you!
When I saw  Betty (Sku#U1527) I just knew she was singing "Happy birthday to you..."  That's why I paired her with the music themed paper and die.  Doesn't she just make you think of the old lady down the street who gives piano lessons and her living room is full of piano music books and smells musty?

On the inside I used Fabulous You (Sku#G2987).

Angels on High, hear them ring !!

Hello Ai Fans !!
I am back today with a great Christmas card , I have been in the mood to make them and Christmas will be here before you know it !!
The stamp I am using today is Faith Angel sku # T4178  and the sentiment Great Joy sku # G4176.
This is an open Bi-fold door card  , 8 1/5 ' x 5 1/2   " , score at 2 1/8"  and 6 1/4' , so you will end up with two doors at 2 1/8" wide , cut a front flap base of 3" by 2 1/2"  , I made a kraft layer  1/4" smaller and then I made my own music note paper with a SU music note wheel stamp , I then inked the edges with TH frayed burlap ,

my ribbon is SU Cherry Cobbler and the ferns are a die I found here LR0181 , my Angel is colored with  Copic markers  and I embellished the wings with diamond dust , I used glossy accents glue to hold it on .

I want to share a new technique to me , I used my copic markers on my sentiment stamp , i colored half my saying in black and the other half in R89 dark red , then you take your blender pen and lay down a layer of blender pen on your paper where you want to stamp your sentiment , now stamp it , with the magic of the blender pen the ink will come off onto the paper and leave a crisp non smeared image behind  , hope you try this and love it as much as I do

Supplies : Faith Angel SKU # T4178 , Great Joy G4176 , SU music note wheel , Fern bough die , copic markers , diamond dust , clear star glitter pen , glossy accents , SU cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon
Hope you hurry and get these stamps to make your Christmas cards before they are sold out , they are new this year !!!
