Bird Thank You card by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans and happy Tuesday!

I'm a huge bird lover so I was thrilled when I saw the new 6209 – Corner Bird Bookmark and, as you can see, it doesn't have to be used just as a bookmark. I chose to put it on a card for a co-worker.

At the school I work at, we had a child assigned aide this year. He did a lot for the 5th grade kids so I made a card for them to sign and give to him.

Since the bird is squared off, I chose to mount him on the 5725 – Nested Square Dies framed by the 6047 – Scalloped Square Dies. I added a little fence border at the bottom using 4967 – WC Fence Dies. All of my patterned papers came from two paper packs, 5832 – Gnome Paper Pack and 5973 – Fall Series 2 Paper Pack.

I can see myself using this sweet little bird a lot, whether it be on cards or as
bookmarks for all of my friends who love to read.

Summerween Challenge #432 Week #2

Hello Ai fans and welcome to week #2 of our challenge.

(posting a little early today, because...why not?)

SUMMERWEEN!!

Summerween is a new expression for me that Tasha brought to light.
Just like there's Christmas in July, a lot of people like to have a mini
celebration of Halloween in the summer. (It's usually in June but I couldn't
fit it in.)

I loved this idea, so here we are. Let's see your best Halloween (or Fall) creations.
Cards, treat bags, boxes, gift card holders and more!

Also...did you see??
It's that time of year when the second set of Freebies become available.
Check out the cuteness overload on these bears!
My personal favorite is the Study Bear.
You can select one of these free stamps when you spend $30 or more on the

Last week Tasha was our Featured Artist and she created a darling Story Tile card.

Tasha also created this cute card.
Janet created 2 cards as well. Her first card is an adorable Frankenstein puppet card.

Her second card is a Story Tile card like Tasha's. Janet used the following sets to make hers.

A lot of our designers made 2 cards this week. Please enjoy these watercolor cards from Neema.
Her first card used:

Her second fun card used:

This fabulous window card is from Diane.
6111 – Spooktacular Set
6130 – Halloween S3 Paper Pack
5065 – Oval Double Stitched Dies

Next up we have the cutest little slider card from Sharon!

I made a ghostly tunnel card that you can find the details for here.

And...last but not least, Dori has an incredible little box with a lid that opens not once, but twice!
Please click HERE and view her video to see how it works. She's SO CREATIVE!!

Happy Fright Night by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!
Welcome to Summerween.

That's when we celebrate Halloween in summer time.

I love Halloween and was excited for this challenge.
I chose to make a tunnel card with three layers.
Though it's a little difficult to see in the photos, my blue
and orange paper are glittery.

All of the fun little dies are from Art Impressions with the exception of the tree/branch.
I love the character that these dies add to a card. I decorated the inside of my card as
well. The ovals were left from what I cut out of on the front of the card and the bats
were the piece I trimmed off. I love not wasting anything.

Hydrangea Bookmark by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers and I love this slimline version.
The size makes it perfect for bookmarks, cards or Bible Journaling.

I decorated the front and the back of my bookmark and I love this color
combination inspired by the Art Impressions paper I chose.

I added a little butterfly that folds flat while he's in the book
and can be popped up next to you while you're reading.

I used colored pencils on this one.

"LOVE" Birds by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

It's a release day here at Art Impressions and you're going to love the
new items! There are new word dies, frame stamps, florals and silver paint!!

I used a frame on the inside of my card and I love the touch of elegance that it adds.

I love these little word dies.
They look great on their own or make a great addition to your stamped images.
I used 2 birds because with the word LOVE you need 2 little "love birds!"
