Gladys has the Flu bug !!

Hello Ai fans !!

Today I am using Gladys sku # P1551 to create this get well card, how sad does she look, totally hits it right on the head, I know we have all been there a time or two.
My creative process started with the coloring my image , then I found a 6*6 My Minds Eye Bramble Rose (these papers are so gorgeous, also 6*6 papers have smaller prints and work perfect for cards),  I cut my image with the ornate die and chalked inside edge of it while die was still on with a soft yellow to create a glow  (this lets you have a white frame around the edge). I then laid this on several papers until I found just the right one,  I then found matching card stock to create my layers. I made square layers to add behind the die, I added paper piercing on each corner,  I added stitching to my bottom layers,  I added my ribbon to top two layers before I attached to base card stock. I often use wax paper when cutting my doilies out (help come off the die easy and the punch outs come out easy, it's like waxing your die when you have lots of small cutouts ), so I am using the wax paper cut today. I attached my image at a slant and added ribbon and hand-made flowers with yellow stickles in centers. I made a sentiment banner with a layer, I hand cut these. I added glossy accents to water and ceramic mug and glass. I added glitter pen the thermometer and remote. These small details add lots of wow to your card so don't forget to add them.

inside my card I kept the colors and theme flowing. I hope you like this card and maybe incorporate some of these ideas in your next creations.

This was one of the very first Art Impressions stamps I bought YEARS ago!! I love her. Your card is very pretty. The flowers are great for a get well card.
