Challenge 109 - "Theory of Negativity" Use Negative Space

Hello Ai Fans!
Welcome to a new challenge at Art Impressions! We're excited for this new week, but first we need to announce the winner of last week's "Layer It Up" challenge ...
The winner is ...
Congratulations! We loved your "Happy 29th" card from our Say It Loud collection! Great coloring and LOTS of layers! You have won a prize pack of our Ai People collection valued at $55! Contact me at kate@artimpressions.com with your address to claim your prize!

We also have two honorable mentions! Our runner-ups will receive their choice of Ai People image! Contact me at kate@artimpressions.com with your address and stamp choice!
Barb Thompson - "Nurse Norma" Card

This week, we're wanting you to turn your negative pieces in the positive artwork! Our "Theory of Negativity" (very scientific ☺) is defined as using the negative space from diecuts or punches. Take the remnants from your 'empty' shapes and add them to your creations or use the pieces as stencils for a new project! Each project needs to have an empty piece shown on the project or a picture of how you used the negative space. The winner will receive four of our new 'Say It Loud' stamps!

Here are the challenge rules ...
Please make a new card or creation. You can make any crafty item you wish; this is not limited to cards!
Limit two submissions per person. You will receive extra votes if you use Art Impressions stamps!
Include a link back to the Ai Blog or grab our button on the top right of our sidebar!
Share the Ai love by clicking and commenting your fellow crafters.
Make sure to get your link up by Wednesday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m. PST to enter your creations.
 Good luck and happy stamping!

This week, Kerry is sharing a great project with us ...
Kerry: "Hello hello, I'm super excited to be hosting this week's challenge, 'Theory of Negativity'!
I decided to create a fun background using the negative space of these adorable flower die cuts.  I cut out three different sizes.  And then I randomly inked the flowers with the desired colors in white card stock.
I stamped the image three separate times and popped each layer with foam dots. (1st layer - whole image, 2nd layer - the Girlfriends without the beauty chairs, and last layer - the foot bath and hairdryer). I colored the girls with Copic markers and a few finishing touches such as glossy accent and stickler. Viola!
And here is the close up."

Thank you Kerry for that amazing project! Make sure to stop by her blog, Kerry is Chilling. Check back next week for all our DT inspiration! Good luck!
