The Stamping Village Holiday Fest! VIDEO HOP + GIVEAWAY!

Hello Ai Fans!

Today we have a special blog and video hop with our friends at The Stamping Village! Our collective group recently released our second benefit set, Holiday Seals Set, and we wanted to inspire you with 13 videos on how to use it! The Stamping Village truly believes in community over competition and we enjoyed coming together, contributing so many different styles to create this unique stamp set! We hope these envelope seals help you send some happiness out to the world!

We also believe in giving back to our crafty community. 100% of the net profits made from this collaboration stamp set will benefit The Dreaming Zebra Foundation. They firmly believe that all children, regardless of their financial circumstances, should have art education. They provide art and music materials free of charge to many schools and community organizations across the country. We are so grateful for those of you purchasing this set to help their cause!

From Jessica Shier (Subscribe to her YouTube!):
There are so many possibilities you can try with these Holiday Seals from the Stamp Village. For my project I created two holiday tags, using one as is, and another to make a fun card design.

Along with the Stamping Village Holiday Seals I used several sets of Art Impressions dies. The Circle Double Stitch die has a circle size that cuts this cute little penguin perfectly. I also used the next larger circle, to die cut the Soft Navy card stock and layer underneath the Copic colored penguin. I'll have all the markers I used for these listed below. For some added detail, I used a white Gelly Roll pen to had snow and turn the black stars from the Art Impressions penguin stamp white.

The gray flag end underneath the circle is a die from the Flag Double Stitch Die. This is where you could add, the recipient's name, or stamp another holiday sentiment. I was thinking a To and From would look nice stamped on that gray flag. Underneath those die cuts I used some fun colored cardstock, School House Red and Innocent Pink (from Gina K. Designs a fellow Stamp Village company!) Both of these were cut using one of the third largest dies, in the Banner Double Stitch set. I also used some Aquamarine Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, which easily blends on to card stock with an ink blending tool.

Now for the largest die. The Tag Stitched die set has a fantastic tag die. I used this to cut two pieces of Neenah 110lb Solar White card stock. These are the base for my penguin tags. However, in the Tag Stitched die set there are some small dies too, that add some fun details. Like the star die and the tag reinforcement die.

For the tag with the red card stock I adhered it to a card base, that I layered with the same Soft Navy card stock that I used before, and a piece of wood panel pattern paper from the Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack. A few final touches before I called these done; I added some shimmer to the penguin's hat with a Spectrum Noir Glitter pen and I also used some black and white baker's twine. This twine came from a Hero Arts package so I thought it would be fitting, and worth mentioning since, they too, are part of the Stamp Village.
