Happy Wednesday Ai Fans!!!
Watch video tutorial here!!!
I'm so excited to be showing you a brand new stamp set from Art Impressions in conjunction with Simon Says Stamp! This EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITION stamp set is called "Home & Heart" and includes many adorable images, several sweet sentiments and the coordinating dies! This set will only be available for a limited time....so if you love it don't wait....get yours today!
This set has a bit of a Mother's Day and Get Well theme to it so I thought it would be fun to create a sweet get well card today! The wonderful sentiments include Some bunny loves you, First a Mom then a forever friend, Home is where your Mom is, You are Beary special, Take good care, Sending big hugs, and the one we will be using today...Feel better soon!
Lets get started by creating a beautiful embossed background. We will keep this mostly white but for a little bit of color we will add some ink around the edges using a blending brush and the Tim Holtz Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink and we will spatter the background with this color as well.
Then let's color in all of our cute little images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens listed as follows: Blender, Lemon Yellow, Bright Yellow, Yellow, Sugared Almond Pink, Pink, Haze Blue, Lt Blue, Lt Gray, Mustard, Oatmeal, Beige, Dk Oatmeal, Mid Brown, Turquoise Green.
Now we will die cut several hexagons from the Ai Hexagon Double Stitched Dies (5135) in a variety of sizes using some pretty pastel patterned papers! Let's also add some cute little bees from the Ai Christmas Bee Set (5042). Although this is a Christmas stamp set, there are several images that can be used all throughout the year! It's always fun to find ways to use all of your stamps in many different ways!!!
By adding the bees and a few pretty gems we can add lots of additional texture, sparkle, and interest to our sweet card!
Thank you so much for joining me today! Have a fun and crafty day!!!
