File Folder Tab Card - "Hot Mess" by Lynn Dionne

In todays video we will be playing with the brand new Ai Hot Mess Laugh Lines Set (5518)! This exhausted and overwhelmed little lady has so many fun sentiments to go along with her....but the one that caught my eye right away was the one that says "My brain has too many tabs open". This made me think of a file folder design as soon as I laid eyes on it!

This design will give us a chance to use both the Tab Punch Board and the Envelope Punch Boards to create this fun card! We can place several fun sentiments on each of the tabs. I will show you how to create the tabs and how to use your envelope punch board to create the file folder! This is a simple way to create this design without a lot of measuring and extra steps.

It is easiest if you select a pretty double-sided paper design that measures 12"x12". That way the inside and outside of your file folder will both have a pretty pattern. You can always stamps and decorate your own patterned paper design if you wish!

I will give you the simple measurements for the card insert and the layers for your card. The finished card will be a mini slimline size!

For a finishing touch we will add a few shiny silver metallic gems on the front of the file folder!
