This card was inspired by the current Ai Blog Challenge which is called "Summer Fun"! We would love to see your creations which include any kind of summer fun including vacation, beach, camping, etc. So please feel free to join in! We can't wait to see what you create!
I thought I would create a fun summer travel card with the girlfriends from the Ai Picture Perfect Set (4130)! To set the scene, we will be using some luggage from the Ai Travel Accessories Set (5508). These little travel accessories can be mixed and matched with many of your other stamp sets!
We will also be creating a speech bubble which will include several goodbye sentiments in a variety of cute ways. To do this we will be masking off each of the words separately using some Masking Magic tape! Let's add a bit of stitching around this speech bubble for added interest using a permanent black fine tip marker.
For the background paper we will be using a pretty yellow floral pattern and for the flooring we will use the back side of the paper which is a pretty striped design!
I stamped a birthday sentiment on the inside of my card but you could certainly change this to a fun retirement card or friendship travel card!
All of the coloring was done using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Aquamarine Blue, Blossom Pink, Smoky Teal, Plum Mist, Shadow Pink, Lt Pink, Tea Rose, Flesh Colour, Lt Brown, Beige, Mid Brown, Brown, Lt Gray
