Art Impressions Blog: Office Party Birthday Window Card by Lynn Dionne

Today's card was inspired by the current Art Impressions Blog Challenge which is to create a card or project with a window. Any kind of window will do...maybe a shadowbox window, a vehicle with windows, a front porch with a window....you get the idea! Just have fun and use your imagination! I thought I would make a fun and festive birthday card for a co-worker using an office window!

To get started we can grab some pretty striped and polka dot paper from the Ai Paper Pack (Halloween Journal Series) and die cut them using the Ai Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies (5063). These fun patterned papers can be used all year round....not just for Halloween!

Let's die cut a window from the Ai Journal Template Die Set (5543) using some white cardstock. We can now attach the striped paper and the window opening to a piece of acetate.

Now we can stamp and color all of our images from the Ai Office Party Set (4998) using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Peach Pink, Flesh Colour, Bright Yellow, Orange, English Lavender, Lilac, Purple, Lt Red Grape, Lt Gray, Mustard.

We can do a bit of fussy cutting to cut our all of our images. Let's now attach the focal image behind the office window and next we can use some 3D Foam Tape to attach the front panel of our card.

Now we can add the other little images including the clipboard, paper & pencil, and the colorful balloons...which all come included with this fun stamp set!

Let's die cut a little frame from the Ai Journal Template Set (5543) for our sentiment which will say "Here's to another year of keeping each other sane!".

We can add some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the balloons for a bit of sparkle and let's also add some beautiful Purple Opalescent sequins!
